Sorry, I haven't been near the records lately - or I've gone to sleep forgetting to do this.

Believe it or not, I have ANOTHER copy of this somewhere - a promo. If I knew where it was, I'd compare and contrast tracklistings (I'm pretty sure it just has a generic promo cover).

Purchased: 4.6.2K
From: Streetlight Records, San Jose, Ca
Price: $3.95

EDIT: Bonus! I *did* find the promo 12" and the front cover ISN'T just generic. (To see the tracklisting, click to get it in humongous size)

Sire PRO-A-3277 (1988)

Back cover IS blank, though. Whoopee!

Purchased 6.5.1
From: WFMU Vinyl Fair
Price: probably $2 or $3

Ofra Haza does backup vocals on the newer version of "Temple of Love" by Sisters of Mercy. Good stuff.

The ghost of a steam train - echoes down my track
It's at the moment bound for nowhere -
just going round and round
Playground kids and creaking swings -
lost laughter in the breeze
I could go on for hours and I probably will -
but I'd sooner put some joy back
In this town called malice

I've always thought of Cannibal Corpse as Gwar without any fucking sense of humor. Music is OK for the genre, but not anywhere near as good as say Morbid Angel or early Sepultura.
