Just caught the replay of his latest fight vs. Freddy Mercury. He looked great, but I see some serious difficulties for him if he tries to take on Mayweather or any of the top 140 pounders (if he goes up even further). His style leaves him very vulnerable to an accurate counterpuncher.
I don't see any fight for him at 135 other than Mayweather. Maybe Morales or Casamayor will move up.
I wonder how much money George W. Bush gave Paris Hilton.
He could've stayed at 130 and fought the winner of Corrales-Casamayor II. I used to think Freitas was great, but he went through some marital stuff and his dad died and it seems as though he's not the same in the ring anymore. I'd have LOVED to see the old Freitas vs. Mayweather at 135, but I think Floyd wins that fight easy today.
On the plus side, only a few more weeks until the Tszyu-Mitchell/McCline-Toney doubleheader. Those should both be good fights. Plus Arturo Gatti fights on the 24th.
