Kinda funny that they mention South Carolina, as they were a charter member of the ACC and is the only school to leave the ACC on June 30, 1971.

| #2 Posted on 18.7.03 2110.28 | It probably would be a smart idea for S. Carolina, particularly in football. Lou Holtz is a miracle worker, but only so much can be done when your in the same division as Tennessee, Florida and Georgia. 3rd place in that division is cause to dance in the streets. Put them in the ACC, and they have in state rival Clemson, and would probably be able to finish second in a division in a good year (assuming Miami and Florida State are in separate divisions. If they are in the same division, the conference title game makes no sense.)
Anxiously awaiting DNA results regarding the relationship between Larry Tate and Chester Tate. |
