What's stopping me from driving home and voting again? (Besides my own moral code, that is) Is there a check in place that makes sure that I don't vote both absentee and in person?| Promote this thread! | | Whitebacon

She absenteed last week, but the NC rolls didn't have all the absentee ballots counted, so they just sent out the rolls anyway. Her mother apparently pitched a huge fit when she saw her daughter's name on the rolls waiting to be voted for.
Again - Some election reform would be nice, I think. Though NC has done something right, by having one of the easiest ballots to use ever. Why the hell would we want electronic voting? Everybody should go to the "Connect the Line" ballot. It's the closest thing to idiot-proof.

Now, is it ok for me yell THEATRE! in a crowded fire? |
