Here's the fall sked, with some notes (new shows in bold):

Notes: After "DWTS," "Cashmere Mafia" (Pretty much "Sex in the City" starring Bonnie Somerville, Lucy Liu)
Wednesday: 8pm: "Pushing Daisies" (supernatural detective show, with Kristin Chenoweth, Chi McBride) 9: "Private Practice" (The Grey's spinoff, with Kate Walsh, Tim Daly, Taye Diggs) 10: "Dirty Sexy Money" (A wealthy, Kennedy-esque family and their lawyer; with Donald Sutherland, Jilly Clayburgh, Peter Krause)

Wow, absolutely nothing for me in the fall from the Alphabet Network. No interest in anything new or renewed. I already can't wait for Lost season 4 in 2008 and season 3 isn't even done yet.
I'd take over - looking at the fact that "According to Jim" and "George Lopez" are only now being cancelled, ABC is clearly the place where mediocre sitcoms can fester for years and years before being put out of our misery.
You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week.
"Yep....and was it really necessary having the woman keep glancing down at his penis?" (Kevintripod)
Canceled: "According to Jim,"
YAY!
"The Knights of Prosperity,"
BOO!
"George Lopez,"
YAY!
I've got to say this is a thoroughly underwhelming lineup, just off of my viewpoint. ABC's probably going to have to find something else to put on Tuesdays from 8-9 in a hurry (thecubsfan, I'm taking the under, as we may be looking at the potential for a shot to pull a Full "Emily's Reasons Why Not", and "Carpoolers" seems to be aimed at the three and a half people that watched "Hope and Faith", which is just sheer genius, and by which, I mean the polar opposite thereof).
Hmm, so will Lost replace the failed 8PM Wednesday drama, or the failed 10PM Wednesday drama? Neither seem promising, though it would be some nice irony if Pushing Daisies featured an episode about a crazed writer who kept producing scripts about his relationship with his ex-girlfriend.
Putting the Grey's spinoff up against the Idol results is an interesting move. I kind of think that show is going to fall really flat. None of the Gray's fans I know (i.e. every woman I know) are overly interested in Addison
According to TV Guide ABC says Lost will not stay in the 10 pm time slot. I imagine they'll probably move it up one hour and if the 9 pm show is still around it can replace one of the other two.
Boston Legal is still great, and apparently it's one of the highest rated shows among rich folk, which I think is a demographic that kept the Office afloat after its rocky start.
and that's...probably all I'll watch, since I'm way too out of the loop on Lost to get into it at this point.

George Lopez is raising a sting about his show getting cancelled and being replaced with CAVEMAN... I agree with him. This is pretty stupid to cancel the only hispanic show on the network and putting more shit in its place. Atleast keep Lopez as a backup for when Caveman bombs.
"Miss Guided" might not be as bad as it sounds at first blush.
Woman returns to her high school as a guidance counselor. Ew. Woman was a nerd in h.s. but is a success now. Uch. Woman has to work with the uber-jock type who made her life hell in h.s. Aw crap.
8pm: "Cavemen" (The Geico commercial-inspired comedy)
I'm setting the under/over line at 3 episodes.
I'll take the under. Two.
I'll go under that. One-and-done. There is a teaser clip up at http://abc.go.com/fallpreview/cavemen/index?u=0 (though if you don't have a pop-up blocker you may want to avoid it, mine clicked 6 or 7 times trying to play a 30-second clip), and my first reaction was: "wow, this is HORRIFICALLY bad." The press release blurb says that this will be "a hilarious and thought-provoking social commentary on race relations in today's America" And the best way to do this is to put people with bad beards and fake teeth on screen for 22 minutes a week. If this goes over 3 episodes, I may throw my TV out the window on general principles.

I guess "Help Me Help You" is still on hiatus? (kidding)
Last year ABC brought some fun comedies and canceled them all. Of course, if it means killing According to Jim I guess we can call it even. George Lopez was something I saw a few times and thought it was funny but not funny enough to commit to.
Next Year it's just Boston Legal and Lost for me. ABC has made it fairly easy not to add any new shows to my TV addiction.
