ABC Sports Cameraman Dies After Falling (Associated Press)
Richard Umansky from Florida was a near-20-year veteran of ABC Sports. He was setting up a camera position at Camp Randall Stadium for last Saturday's Wisconsin-Iowa game (which the Badgers lost)...when he fell from a wooden platform onto one of Camp Randall's concrete entry ramp, hitting his head.
It took him 2 days to die...*shudder*
At least Al Michaels mentioned him last night on Monday Night Football...but it's sure hard to find a mention of him online.
Rest in peace, brother.
Star wipe, and...we're out.
