On a somewhat related note, based solely on the commercials, Greys Anatomy is incredibly poorly written.

Sigh. I didn't realize there was a problem in the first place. I thought it was doing quite well for itself before the writers' strike.
And how the heck does cartoonishness make something LESS accessible? Granted that isn't a completely unfair description for the show (in the first Pushing Daises thread here on The W I likened it to watching a Dr. Seuss movie), but aren't cartoons like the lowest common denominator? Hmph!
