Uh... I hated it. Mainly because it was boring, redundant, and stupid.

But if YOU liked it, I'd love to hear why.

Only reason to like any part of it is Jackie Earl Hailey, he's perfectly ghoulish & ghastly as Freddy. A sinister edge to be exact.

Everyone else in the supporting cast have no depth including Nancy are throw away just like the subsequent sequels of Final Destination.

There is more substance in the original than the remake, watch the original if you want a good movie.

I actually didn't care for Haley in this movie. He sounded too much like Rorshach in this one, and he didn't nail the tone of Freddy.

I also differ from Jwrestle because I liked the two main leads, especially the boy. He played the "guy who hasn't slept in a while" character well. Some of the scares were decent and a few of the Freddy lines were decent.

I'm not recommending the movie mind you, but I seem to dislike it much less than you two.

I dug it. Obviously it's not as good as the original.. but it's not the original. As its own movie, it's a pretty decent horror flick. I liked the backstory in this one better than the original anyways.

Saw Paul last night, and thought it was hilarious. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost were hilarious as two British Sci-Fi nerds who come to the USA for a Comicon and then decide they are going on a UFO site roadtrip.
