I actually didn't care for Haley in this movie. He sounded too much like Rorshach in this one, and he didn't nail the tone of Freddy.
I also differ from Jwrestle because I liked the two main leads, especially the boy. He played the "guy who hasn't slept in a while" character well. Some of the scares were decent and a few of the Freddy lines were decent.
I'm not recommending the movie mind you, but I seem to dislike it much less than you two.

I dug it. Obviously it's not as good as the original.. but it's not the original. As its own movie, it's a pretty decent horror flick. I liked the backstory in this one better than the original anyways.

No, it's ultimately not as great as Let The Right One In, certainly not original, but overall I found Let Me In to be a worthy remake that justifies its own existence.
