I think that's what it was called. Regardless, this is a fine example of what is wrong with a lot of smarks. Just because some kid doesn't know shitty wrestlers from 10-15 years ago means they aren't a good fan? That makes absolutely no sense. Are we to mock kids in 15 years that don't know who Albert or Road Dogg are?
I didn't read it the same way you did. I thought it was a humor piece where the author made fun of himself for harping on midcard wrestlers from 10 years ago. I thought it was too silly to be taken seriously. I also laughed and thought it was funny. It was funnier than the jokes at the end of my column.
22 year old Erich Kulas passed away in his Craston, Rhode Island home last Tuesday. New wrestling fans may look at that, and shrug. At 22 years old he couldn't possibly have had anything to do with professional wrestling.
