It's repeat time for Confidential, I guess they didn't want to go up against the all powerful repeat airing of Trish on MadTV last night. LoL I'm sure 95% of you are thinking "There was a repeat airing of Trish on MadTv last night?" haha
-Booker T at Eagles training Camp- Levon Kirkland does a great Booker T impression. But the Eagles team did a much better impression of Booker when they couldn't win the big one when they jobbed out at home vs. The Bucs... Why does Levon ask Booker to sign such an old picture, jeeesh Kirkland shill out for some new glossy photo of your man Book.
-6 minutes and 19 seconds to describe 619- I think Rey Rey is ool but is that 619 move really that complex that you have to go into great detail on how it's performed LoL
-RVD plays with himself- RVD wearing his manly fanny pack (don't laugh where else would he keep his change purse). Ha the girls like RVD until he raises his arms to point himself and they are standing right next to him, yuck. They sure brag about how much work and detail they put into it , so why do all the figures look like their on drugs (oh wait)... Poor RVD, he got flashbacks of his HHH feud when the microphone no sold his threat of "Tell me how cool I am" and the microphone responded "whatever" LoL
-Fit Finlay Fine Fighting Females- They interview a lot of women who trained very hard with Finlay. Like Trish who's regularly bumps and amazing effort is something to really look up to. And Victoria who came in a adapted better then I've ever seen a new face perform male or female. And Molly who is the top in-ring wrestler of the bunch who can have good matches with anyone. And Terri who? hummm? Okay what is Justin Terrilake doing here LoL... As a Raw Diva mark I enjoyed this segment, the funniest part was when Trish talked about how Finlay would come in and almost like walking on egg shells and carefully break the news to her that she's in a silly gimmick match, but then try to figure something cool and athletic to add to it.
-Next weeks Raw in Vegas? umm Vegcouver- Pretty pointless even for Confidential, some segments including HHH marrying Steph, Steph claiming she's pregnant to HHH. Vince McMahon winning the WWE Title. And a lot more stuff to do with McMahon's and futre McMahons LoL
-Val remembers when he was relevant-Ahhh remember the late 90s when his gimmick was over. Also remember that same time period Furbys were all the rage as well
The Fit Finlay with the women segment was really good, even though I joked about it the RVD and Jakks Pacific was fun. So the middle part of the show was solid, the beginning 2 and the ending 2 segments were kinda lame
cause there's limits to our liberties. 'Least I hope and pray that there are, cause those liberal freaks go too far.
I'll crush all opposition to me And I'll make Ted Kennedy pay If he fights back, I'll say that he's gay
Prior to the original airing of this Confidential segment, I had imagined that Fit's method of training including his showing some of his B & C-Show examples of his nastier squashes (Johnny Swinger, Barry Houston and Lorenzo from Sat. Night, Chris Adams on Thunder) and simply saying "This is what will happen if you screw up".
I don't think I saw this episode the first time around. I really liked the Fit Finley segment. You caould tell that the women like working with him, & he seems to like working with them. He said something about thinking it was a joke when they first told him he would be working with the women, with the implication that he wasn't exactly thrilled. But he seems to have gotten to be pretty proud of their progress.
Now you see, the Val Venis segment was fun for me! We all have our personal pets. :-)
I actually found the Val Venis segment pretty fun as well. I thought the character was excellent back in the day (it could be today too, but it's been played out, and needs to be retired). The funniest thing was how his mother was so ecstatic about him having a porn star gimmick, because my mother would probably want to kill me if she saw me on TV talking about banging chicks and the such.
RVD wearing his manly fanny pack (don't laugh where else would he keep his change purse).
Actually, if you've ever seen a pro-wrestler in the person, you'll soon realize that they ALL wear those things. I don't get the trend amongst them, but maybe it makes it easier for you when you travel a lot.
The reason the nWo was cheered in WCW, even though they were supposed to be heels, is that they were simply considered too cool. They'd play to the crowd and stuff with the survey, 2-sweet, all their pretty little hand motions and the whole bit.
