In a move that's being described as shocking and surprising, the CW is bringing back 7th Heaven next season - the show whose *series* finale just aired last week. Apparently, it's all about money - it was canceled cause it was too expensive, but now it's back after a recent "influx" of cash to the network.
Now, shows whose fate were up in the air before have one *less* timeslot to fight over.
All eyes are on the CW next week during the upfronts.
Actually this isn't that shocking at all since it's been rumored for several weeks. In fact they knew there was a possibility of another season before the finale ever aired which is why the WB never even called it the SERIES finale just the SEASON finale. Maybe other people called it the series finale but the WB never did.

The WB that I get here in Winnipeg was advertising it as the series finale up until at least a few days ago. I've never watched the show, Sarah Thompson (from Angel) caught my eye during those commercials so I paid more attention than I normally would. Those ads aired for at least a few weeks.
I like the guy, I admit it. But I don't think this is the right type of gig for him. To be honest, I think he would have been better on Price is Right, and Drew would be better hosting a talk show.
