hey guys guess what I bought

- Fracture
- Crash: Mind over Mutant
- NBA Live 2009
- NBA 2K9
- Guilty Gear 2: Overture

Answer: None of these. But I did get an Xbox 360 (60 GB Pro edition) and I bought a few games:
- Beautiful Katamari
- Rumble Roses XX
- Burnout Revenge
- Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Vol. 1
- Also, I am supposed to get Gears of War and Star Wars: Force Unleashed for free because of a deal when I bought my system - no idea when those will show up, though

Hey, why not? The price is definitely right. If Sony can follow up with their own price cut, I'll jump in on the PS3, but until then, I'm perfectly happy with the 360 and Wii. Welcome to the family!

Now comes the fun part...shopping through the enormous back catalog! Some personal recommendations:

The Orange Box (The W at Amazon)
Bioshock
Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year Edition, currently the standard for Xbox 360 FPS's (Halo what?), which also comes with the add-on multiplayer map pack.
Grand Theft Auto IV
Assassin's Creed, which I wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole for full price, but at THIS price is a great buy.
Ninja Gaiden II

If you've got some cash to spare, there's:

Rock Band 2: Special Edition, which hits stores on the 19th. Once you go 360, you'll never go back to the subpar Wii incarnations of these games.

And if you're looking to the future:

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, which will soon yield you a bonus code that lets you download the original N64 Banjo for free.

Now I wasn't able to find this Amazon link (not up yet, perhaps), but here's something to keep an eye on since Xbox Live is obviously a must. Look out for a new Xbox Live Gold package in stores that will contain a 12-month subscription for Xbox Live, a headset, a text pad, and Project Gotham Racing 4...for an OBSCENE $70! Considering that the 12-month subscription retails for $50 on its own, this is a steal!

False - these are some great suggestions, thanks.

At the moment, I'm trying to sort out my music games. I currently have:

Wii:
- GH3
- GH Aerosmith

PS2:
- Rock Band
- Rock Band Track Pack
- GH 1
- GH 2
- GH 80s

(don't even get me started on Elite Beat Agents, Guitar Hero On Tour with its stupid guitar grip that doesn't even work for me, Donkey Konga 1 and 2... and has anyone here tried the Wii Samba de Amigo? Is it good?)

I have no real desire for GH World Tour, but I really do want RB2 and will probably pick it up once the bundle is available. Of course, this will mean trading off the PS2 games, and I have a friend who'll take the drums and mic for cheap.

HMV across the street from me has a deal on GH3 for the 360 where you basically buy a guitar and get the game for free, so I will do that and trade off GH3 for the Wii. Will probably trade off the Aerosmith one too because I just don't care. Then I have to decide what I want to do about GH 1, 2, and 80s. I could keep them, but am I likely to ever play them? Doubtful. SO MANY QUESTIONS.

As for the rest of the games you listed, I'm totally interested in Bioshock and/or GTA IV but I need to play through what I have first.

With the amount of songs coming to Rock Band (500 by end of 2008), the tracks on GH1, 2 and 80s will end up being obsolete due to the superior master track versions in RB. There are some Youtube videos of side by side comparisons of RB and GH versions of the same song if you are curious.
