| #1 Posted on 9.10.03 2007.09 Reposted on: 9.10.10 2009.00 | I was reading a quick recap of Trish Stratus' appearance on Byte This today (credit: www.stratus-faction.com):
TRISH called in for a chat on this afternoon's ByteThis and covered a wide range of topics. Among the big news, she will grace the cover of New York teen magazine "GENER8." Trish said it was great to be recognised in the same genre as the likes of Britney Spears and signified a big step for wrestling in the mainstream teenage market. Trish then revealed that she will be recording a SONG later this month as part of a special WWE album, featuring superstars belting out famous tracks!

What about Jim Duggan's rap classic "USA". That song sure does put John Cena to shame. | Dexley's Midnight Jogger

Perhaps also they can put the audio on there from the time Steve Austin sang Margaritaville to the Rock, and the Rock returned the favor by singing The Gambler to Austin. | Simba

I hope it's not just them singing other wrestlers' entrance themes or something lame like that. Although, I'd pay good money to hear Booker T belt out an updated version of "Grab Them Cakes". | CANADIAN BULLDOG

I loved the part where's he talking, just rambling on, before they start with the chorus of 'USA - USA - USA - Hoooooo'. He's just making it up as he goes along.
Tonight, I'm thinking, I get into the ring with this guy, he wants to tear me apart. Then I get this look in my eyes, and I head to the ring and I get ready to take care of business. Then the next day, I wake up and start making breakfast. I have some eggs and....
Yes, I know those aren't the actual lyrics.
Anyways... Dexley's idea about the Austin and Rock songs is a great one as well. I actually burned a CD recently with all that stuff, the Stephanie-led 'Wind Beneath Our Ring', etc. I'm all for WWE: The Musical. | Wolfram J. Paulovich

I always thought Bret sounded eerily like Henry Rollins. Really eerily.
