OK, here the idea of this thread. With the list of wrestlers below, just give your general thoughts on what should happen with these guys and what will happen with them within the next year. You know, if they should be pushed, if they WILL be pushed, if they'll be with the company at this time next year:

Jamie Knoble
Randy Orton
Chris Jericho
Chris Benoit
Rob Van Dam
Booker T
Matt Hardy

Why not, I'm bored.

If Test is still on the roster five years from now, then he'll have a world title run. I know 'net fans hate him, but he has the look and ability to stay on top. If he actually has the desire to improve, he could be a major player.

Christian will be pretty much forgotten.

Edge will eventually become one of the most popular faces in WWE history. He'll have multiple title runs and many memorable feuds as well. He'll go out on top via the "it's better to burn out than to fade away" philosophy.

In a few years, Jamie Knoble will be just another cruiserweight that people love to bring up as examples of the WWE's misuse of talent.

Regal will stay exactly where he is for the rest of his career. Hopefully, he'll remain a heel and stay just as highly entertaining as he currently is.

HHH will have herpes.

Randy Orton will have been forced to retire due to a career ending injury during a blown spot in a title match.

Chris Jericho will eventually end up as the champion of whichever new federation is misguidingly attempting to dethrone the WWE in 5 years.

Chris Benoit might have a short (less than 2 month) title run just to shut the 'net fans up but he'll be gone shortly after that.

Rob Van Dam... I could care less.

Booker T will probably have a WWE title run within the next 2 years. Five years from now, he'll be retired.

Matt Hardy will probably never ascend higher than whatever the secondary title ends up being but he'll have the honor of being squashed by more champions than any wrestler in history.

Test: By October 2003, he'll have had another aborted main event push, probably against Kane or RVD. The WWE will try to salvage him by turning him face and giving him another big/semi-main event push. By September, his steam will have run out again, and he'll be mired in matches on Heat and tag matches on RAW. In short, he'll be the "Mystery Tag Wrestler" who people are supposed to be really scared of, but in actuality, is a joke.

Christian: Right where he is now. A year won't get him pushed, especially on RAW. He might end up on Smackdown, where he'll get a mini-push (maybe in a feud with Edge again) and then back to tagging in the lower mid-card.

Edge: Main event guy. Feuding with the likes of Lesner and Angle for the WWE Title. He probably won't get his first title run until near the end of 2003, but I'll go out on a limb and predict that he'll be the first to score a pinfall victory over Brock.

Jamie Knoble: He'll still be on the roster, but his "trailer trash" gimmick will be worn out. He'll end up in the gimmick spiral of hell, and just be "another cruiserweight". People will speak fondly of the Knoble of old, when he was a hillbilly.

Regal: No movement up or down the card. He'll have some mildly entertaining feuds against the likes of Bubbah or Dreamer, but won't have a hell of alot of impact on the roster or stories.

HHH: Same place he is now. Still in the championship mix, and still in top storylines. He'll have at least one more great match under his belt, but we'll still hate him. We always will. It's politics it is.

Randy Orton: He'll be fairly over as a heel (not as much as they'd like). He'll have some fairly good feuds and matches, but won't amount to much more than a solid midcarder.

Chris Jericho: He'll turn face around the New Year and enjoy some good popularity. He'll get one clean win over HHH, but people will complain it's too little too late. He'll also get another run with the title around summmer, but never shake the stigma of being a fluke main eventer.

Chris Benoit: He'll get a half hearted main event push, getting some "big" wins over people like Edge. He still won't be able to break out as a guy who can beat the top guys. He'll finally get one big win (possibly against Undertaker) and get the title shortly after. He'll get hurt again around the end of next summer, cutting his title run sadly short.

Rob Van Dam: He'll get a big push around the new year, but will get shunted to the side again to make way for Jericho. He'll get stuck in upper-midcard feuds and meaningless matches against people like Big Show. He'll probably get his first real title run in late 2003.

Booker T: He'll get into a big main event level feud that is horribly misbooked. However, more do to his charisma than good writing he'll stay over. Not that it'll lead anywhere. He'll become a good transitional champion ala Rock, only not as over.

Matt Hardy: He'll be pissed at the demotion of his brother Jeff to OVW and will dog it for a while. Something will kick him in the ass, and he'll end up where say, Eddie, is now. Over, but in pointless feuds with fairly good to really good matches. He'll end up feuding with a returning Jeff by the end of the year.
