Heyman: Brock's young. He's the youngest WWE Champion ever!
Big Show: Well then, I'll be the biggest.
This got me to thinking. "That's not true, Andre the Giant was the biggest champion ever." This got me to thinking even more. Way back in the day, before the company even changed it's name to WWE, the commentators were always pushing Wight as "The biggest man in sports entertainment." Shouldn't they be saying: "The biggest man in sports entertainment TODAY?" Have the people forgotten Andre so soon? And another thing, Big Show isn't even the biggest man in wrestling! The "largest man" in sports entertainment comment also pisses me off...maybe Andre wasn't really as big as Show...they like to lie about heights and weights for the sake of storyline. This could just be another lie, come to think of it. There's no way they can call Rikishi "400 lbs" and then one day decide to call him "353 lbs". That's what they've done, and I definitely don't see Keesh as 50 pounds lighter. One day they just decided to use his 'real' weight. | Mr Heel II

I had the exact same gut reaction, but I suppose it could be debated that it depended on Andre's weight WHEN he had the belt. He was billed anywhere between 375 and 500 pounds or so if I remember correctly. And Big Show aint exactly slimmin' these days... | The Amazing Salami

Not to mention, Andre's title reign lasted less than 5 minutes. I'm pretty sure the only title reigns shorter that can be attributed to the 24-7 Hardcore title rule. | Mild Mannered Madman

That's a pretty flawed statement to begin with, considering Big Show was WWE Champion before, Yokozuna was without a doubt the heaviest pound-for-pound (though lacked height), and Andre was probably just as big - if not bigger - than the Big Show.

Not that this makes it official or anything, but "WWF No Mercy" (the video game) lists Andre as 7'2". | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
