| #23 Posted on 20.2.03 0807.15 Reposted on: 20.2.10 0810.17 | NWA-TNA is a smart fan paradise. You get great matches mixed with mark out moments of old wrestlers that only a smart would love. You get all the cheese and Thunder stuff we all like to complain about. You get the ECW stuff and the cruiser and lucha love. You get to hate Russo. I just don’t understand why more of you wieners don’t watch these shows.
Think about it. For four weeks we have pretty much been watching a big tease for buying Austin’s return at NWO. Now we get to pay $40 to watch him fight Uncle Eric. Hey, I want to see Austin too but I can wait one more night to hear the glass break for free and hopefully hear his promo why he did what he did before and why he did whatever he does at NWO. That same $40 if nothing else could have given you a four shows and maybe a different perspective. We all like to say that the WWE has gotten lazy because it has no competition. I say it does.
Hey if you can’t afford $10 a show that’s one thing. I can relate to poverty. I am just saying if you see a bad WWE PPV on the horizon give it a chance. Sure the production values suck. Yeah, you have Russo. Yeah, they don’t have the big names due to the WWE talent vacuum but I think they are doing outstanding with what they have to work with. Who would have thought that Russo and Jarrett are the ones that are living up to the “you never know what’s gonna happen” line while WWE gives you corpse fucking and/or fucking old men to death.
And it’s not an either or situation. I just would rather spend my money on NWA because I think competition makes them both better. I’ll buy Mania of course but lately I think my dollars are better spent on supporting NWA. I am just saying if you have never bought one try it or if you bought an early one and didn't like it I think they have gotten much better.
Oh and yeah Vader is the man. Who's the man? "I am the bull of the woods. I kick grizzly bears out of their caves!"

(By the way, I'm not bashing anyone's opinion of the man. I'm just curious what the appeal is after all these years) | Jackson

But then I guess in my mind when I think Vader I think of 1992 Vader, so I'm not really using a fair point of comparison.

It seems TNA has a lot of things going for it, especially the way people are being put over: it seems everyone in TNA is made to look good, even in loss, which is something the WWE consistently fails at because it has to work around all the old dead weight that won't put over the younger guys. | Excalibur05

He used the name Vader in both WCW and WWF, and I believe he used it over in Japan after he was released from WWF a few years ago, so I'm assuming he does have the rights to the name, cause if he didn't, SOMEONE would have stopped him from using it already.

White Castle of Doom...
By some of his more recent pictures of Vader, I'm sure he's visited a White Castle a few times recently.
LoL Excalibur, those guys in the background are totally marking out!
