Didn't the Democrats make up the right to abortion and pretended was in the Constitution. Just asking....\

Abortion is protected, albeit without being mentioned, by several clauses in Constitution, notably the "rights retained by the people" clause of the Ninth Amendment.

When in doubt, the presumption is always in favor of the rights of the individual.

1. Is this then not stuff made up and pretend it is there.

2. Amazing how the right to kill the unborn is a "right of the individual" protected by the consitution but the right to bear arms, as clearly outlined in the 2nd Amendment, is not.

Really? I thought we were talking about Democrats not liberatarians.

If it is, then so is anything else covered by the Ninth Amendment. Which would render the Amendment meaningless.

The right to bear arms is outlined by the Second Amendment, but also limited to the interest of "a well-regulated militia". Beyond that, I really don't want to get into it as it's one issue I have mixed feelings about.

I'm talking about what's proper in the spirit of the Constitution. No party has a perfect record in that regard, although some are better than others.
