There's GOTTA be something about "making a woman" out of some chick in the crowd or, even better, some "fat boy's" girlfriend.

How in the hell is "Whoooo!" all the way up at seven? It's got to be top 2 at least.

For some reason, I always think of his breathless, "ABUSE OF POWER" screaming at Bischoff on his big Nitro return when I think of Flair. Not really a catchphrase, but by God it seemed like it could become one when Flair said it with that much passion...

And it wasn't 'Diamonds are forever and So Is Ric Flair.' The quote was 'Diamonds are Forever, and So Are the Horsemen.'

Ummm...I'm not sure, but I think some people might find that signature quote massively offensive. Actually I think I might be one of them.

Unless I'm missing some running joke thats going on over in the States re. nukeing Mecca I think I'd have to agree.

A parody of 'public' opinion like that is one thing in the context of a post, but used as a stand alone sig it's just bad.

I agree with both of The 5th Horseman's suggestions.

One more recent one that I like:

"Space Mountain may be the oldest ride in the park, but it's still got the longest line!"

Whooo!! We're gonna sweat, we're gonna bleed, and we're gonna pay the price of our wrestling lives!

My favorite promo was his set up to Wrestlemania 8:

"Oh, and believe me, this is the real deal! Ladies and gentlemen, it's Wrestlemania 8! It's Indianapolis, Indiana! It's bright lights, it's the big cities! It's long limousines! It's women lined up for a block to take a shot at the champ! But MOST OF ALL... it's Randy Savage's attempt, to WALK THE AISLE... to defend the honor of his lady."

I agree that the whole "nuke Mecca" thing is in bad taste and is stupid, but here's my question: does it piss you off because it implies the destruction of millions of innocent lives, or because it's against a religion? Is it the hazy anti-Islamic sentiment that gets your goat, or is it the overall blood-thirstiness? Is it both?
If you're pissed because it bashes a religion, I ask this: would any of you be this riled up if his sig had some stupid saying against Christianity? I've seen a few sigs here and plenty of things on the net that trivialize or bash Christ, yet no one says anything about it. Yet one guy has a sig that doesn't out-and-out bash Islam, but talks (very obviously in a joking manner) about the destruction of that religion's holy city and you jump down his throat? He obviously doesn't mean it. He's obviously trying to say something about the bigoted political views of some Americans.
At the university I attend, the professors (and students) almost constantly bash Christianity and discredit Jesus, but if anyone says anything about Muhammad or the Koran or Islam in general YOU ARE TOAST because it is so vogue right now to defend Islam. "All of them are not like that," you'll find yourself saying. "It's just a certain group of fanatics that are hateful and want to kill Americans." Then in the same breath, you'll turn around and say ALL Christians are hypocrites and ALL Christians are duped and ALL Christians are hateful people. Where does the bigotry lie?
Admit it: you guys jumped on redsoxnation's case because it's the modern, "tolerant" thing to defend Islam. You don't really care about what happens to Muslims, but you look SO intelligent when you come to their defense.
