I'm not surprised the people cut Jamie.

She was so big yet so vulnerable that it made me feel for her, kind of the way Maven's troubles in the first season made it easy to root for him. I hope she and Eric either find their way to WWE sometime or else pop up on TNA this wed. night. | jivesoulbro

I know the temptation is to say that Jamie doesn't have the ring work down, but I thought Jackie Gayda really had the ring work down, and look how that turned out -- so I'm trying not to draw conclusions based on the limited amount of video we see.
This was an appropriate end to what I thought was a very good season. The women contestants had a lot of problems, but I think this was the strongest group of men they'd had. And I guess that rubbbing Ivory's ass on the beach doesn't count as disrespecting your trainer (Smooth, Scott).
They shouldn't make Nidia share the stage with Maven. It's just not fair to her. I know he hasn't quite put it all together in the ring, but that guy impresses me every time I see him in a non-wrestling capacity.
I think Jonah and Eric are more likely to go the way of Kenny and Jake than Chris Nowinski.

The choice of outfits were interesting. John looked like a bad ass, Jamie looked stunning, Matt looked sharp, Jonah looked like he was going clubbing, and Eric looked like Eurotrash. Nice touch with the final cut when they led Jamie to her parents. Jamie is tall compared to her parents. Nidia and Maven looked great.
Why even pretend that Smackdown was live? That went right out of the window as soon as they showed Josh doing interviews (he was also doing interviews on Smackdown).
I give credit where credit is due, Jamie and Jonah have the personality befitting wrestlers but I'm not so sure about Eric.
Will any of the losers become the next Chris Norwinski and make it into the WWE eventually? Or will they become the next Jake and never wrestle because he didn't become a star? Or will they become the next Taylor and wrestle steadily but not make it into the WWE?
Only time will tell.

Being the dick heel in the indy's and sharpening his in ring work. Out of all the finalists this year I think that Jonah had the most personality out of all them.
And speaking of previous years Jake and Kenny were absolutely dreadful and I'm glad they picked the two girls over those goofs.

Jivesoul -- Scott, of *all* people, got to rub Ivory's ass. Disrespect or not, he got to rub her ass. Much better consolation prize than Rice-a-Roni.
Funny to see that New YAWK~! accent Nidia had. At least she said "And the first champion is..."
Eric might go the way of Kenny and Jake, but I don't really think he will. He's pissed because he's a perfectionist, and things didn't end his way. Jonah, meanwhile, if he sticks with it, could very well Nowinski his way in; he certainly has the charisma. His ender was questioning himself.
That said, kudos to the editors again -- the only gripe I had was holding on the Jamie-with-parents shot too long. And more Ivory shots, please?
Josh and Eric -- separated at birth?
By the way, take a drink every year Al Snow does the "You'velosthowdoesitfeelandareyougoingtocontinue?" line. Good year to rebound from TE2.

Seriously. She HAD to have some velcro holding that dress on her, didn't she? DAMN!
That intro was really nice. That crowd was totally into the live cut session on stage, as was I.
I was also extremely happy with the winners. At the same time, I wouldn't mind seeing any of them again down the road.

I guess it was a foregone conclusion that Matt was going to win. I really didn't care who the other spot was going to. By the way, why are they still doing the two winners thing anyway? I thought the whole point of that was that they were having a guy and a girl win, but they dumped that plan for Season 2, so why not just go with the one very best contestant? And why didn't I think of that until just now?
Anyway, a fine show, and a fine way to top of what, in retrospect, was a fine season after all.
The real winner was of course........Scott. On the other hand, if it was me, I would have taken the opportunity to really SMACK THAT ASS!!!!

| #18 Posted on 24.1.03 0015.19 Reposted on: 24.1.10 0015.25 | Played. Maven and Nowinski are just kinda floundering around. Jackie/Linda still suck. Matt and John have great potential but it takes so many years for potential to turn into real developed talent in wrestling.
I think if MTV still wants a reality WWE show they should do the Diary type thing. Pick a couple midcarders and follow them day in and day out on the road and at home. Document their struggles and injuries. Their ups and downs. All the crap they have to go through to try and do well. That type of show could take some guy who is floundering to try and connect with the audience and turn him into a star.
They could even do it with a guy from OVW who they think is about 6 months to a year away from making it. Follow him for 4-5 months, get a bunch of footage and once the show rolls around he'll be ready to jump to WWE. | Ticamo

I am more confident in Matt and John than I was for last years competition. I think the thing that cut Jonah out of winning was his having second thoughts or even when he called the 'respect' speech a bunch of bull$hit. But I know we'll be seeing him again.
I think Jamie was eliminated because there's some resentment about last year's winners, who we haven't seen in ages. Jackie and Linda have probably killed the chances of any woman who winning Tough Enough again. I agree with spf2119, as usual , she really won me over towards the end. Yeah, she cried too much at times, but hell, Matt did too and he won. Oh well...
