First off, they actually let us in at a decent time, maybe 6:30 or so. Not sure exactly. Anyway, I get in and head straight to the bathroom. I get in there and I see this dude without a shirt and I'm thinking "OK, this is fucking weird". He asks me if they're letting people and I tell him yes. Its about this time I realize its Jeff Fucking Hardy!!! Now, I know this man may not be a net favorite or whatever, but fuck you all because that was the highlight of my night! Anyway, I ask the guy for an autograph and he obliged. His signature's kinda weird. Looked like he stmped it, but nope. I don't have a scanner or else maybe I'd show it off.
The show itself was decent. Damn, did that place turn on Steiner, though. Not sure how it came off on TV, but we had a good "Y2J" chant going when Jericho eliminated everyone in the ring. Not sure if it really caught on outside of the section I was in so I'm curiou as to whether o not you could hear it on TV. Benoit got a big reacion after his match. Taker got the biggest pop of the night for his entrance. Not sure if its because he's been gone so long or just because people love that guy. Oh yeah, that whole bit with maven was priceless! Anyway, the undercard ma have been pretty shitty, but it was saved by the Benoit/Angle match and the Rumble. Good stuff! | Promote this thread! |             | Iron Mike Sharpe
