That'd be a shame because you don't like to see that sort of thing happen to anybody. Like him or hate him, he was a big part of the "Attitude" era of the WWF(mostly as part of the New Age Outlaws and Degeneration X).

He was just getting some good heat behind him with the Billy & Chucky thing, then this happened. Now he's more-than-likely retired, while Chuck Palumbo is a 4th rate jobber who will probably be standing on the unemployement line, right behind Justin Credible and in front of Jamal, in a few months. | JST

And, he *was* part of D-X and the New Age Outlaws, so I guess we owe him for his part in making wrestling suck a little less than it would've without him. | Russenmafia

I didn't mind Gunn in the midcard tag team role but he was just missing that something extra to be a singles performer. He is close to 40 and I remember him saying awhile ago that he didn't think he had too many years left in him. He had close to a ten year run with WWF/WWE, that's pretty impressive. | OMEGA

Hey, it could have been Albert who got hurt. I think it's still sad when any athlete not named Triple H or Kevin Nash gets hurt. Of course, if there name IS Triple H or Kevin Nash, that can only mean good things for the rest of the world. Oh, throw Undertaker's name in there too. "I won't job to Brock Lesnar." Actually, this will probably lead to the Billy Gunn coming back from the brink of retirement singles push. | Russenmafia

No. It's a bad thing when someone gets hurt... unless they're a dirty, rotten politician who only cares about themselves and couldn't give two craps about the business. Then I HOPE they go out there and break their necks. Hope I cleared that up for ya'.

I know I`ve mentioned on here before that my friends and I have found Billy Gunn the source of humor for years now. The Ass Man gimmick, the name "Monty Sopp"...not really due to his ringwork, just all that stuff is why I`m always amused by The One Ass, and I hope this isn`t the end of the road. | krakken2000
