What, beyond ditching the roster split, firing the entire Raw writing team, giving the Smackdown bookers 100% authority, and putting Triple H out to pasture can they do to turn things around?

Well, if you had actually paid attention to my whole post, you'd notice that getting rid of Triple H was a part of my plan...that way, instead of dragging Raw down to hell with him, he'll be on a street corner somewhere with a sign reading "I Will Wrestle You For Food-Uh"...

Now, I'm sure there are plenty of things some of us on this board could think to do with Steph that would still keep her away from programming without polluting the ocean with cats.
And I'm a fan of the roster split as well. Without it, I'd see a lot of my favourites rarely and several I can't stand multiple times a week. | sentonBOMB

yeah, i read it.. just giving an example. hence my prefacing it with "besides...".
i'm mostly saying, having two "main" wrestling shows a week is a bit much. the roster split lessens the impact of that by at least having some variety. there are too many people complaining about things, and then bitching when they change. people wanted something different, they got the roster split. they stopped liking that, they asked for there to be a real difference between the shows, and now they got that. you gotta give an idea time to prove itself. | PowerPB13

Either way, only the Smackdown side seems to have half a clue about booking coherently...

it's hard for me, since my favorite wwe wrestlers right now are hurricane and booker (and i still have a soft spot for jeff hardy, since the boyz have been my favorite tag team since i first saw them).. and the better show is smackdown. so, what to do? | oldschoolhero

And Raw's roster has much more depth to it than SD's. That said, I enjoy both shows and I find it hilarious that some people still find the energy to totally ignore any improvements and focus on the bad. Must be great being a cynic. | Gugs

| #11 Posted on 2.1.03 2226.12 Reposted on: 2.1.10 2228.34 | Here's a list of people I'd like to see on TV, just to change a little and to see if they can breathe new life into WWE.
1. Shane McMahon
Easily the most entertaining McMahon, it would be worth it just to hear his music. Here comes the money!
2. Vince McMahon
Vince needs to step up and show some balls out there. Maybe (as someone else suggested) he can struggle with Bischoff for power on Raw.
3. Mick Foley
Mick's probably none too pleased with this idea, but a little humore now and then wouldn't be a bad thing.
4. Bret Hart
Bringing in the Hitman would be one hell of a shock for Vince, and I think it would convince the majority of the IWC that he actually cares and he's not just keeping the ship afloat.
I also don't think the split should be scrapped. I can think of a handful of guys who might not be on TV if the split were scrapped.
Billy Kidman Chavo Guerrero Chuck Palumbo Bill DeMott Jamie Noble Nunzio Nidia Charlie Hass Shelton Benjamin Batista Hurricane Crash Maven Christopher Nowinski Al Snow Rico Jamal Rosie
Plus, we'd have Edge & Christian teaming up again, the Hardy Boyz would be back together and Triple H would be the only champion. Add all this together with the fact that Jericho would be made to look like a jobber on both shows instead of just one, and you have one hell of a problem. | emma

Given the fact that about 99% of the 'net commentators take the attitude of "you're an idiot if you don't see things my way", sometimes I FEEL like an ignorant mark, thank you very much.
