Only bone to pick: Dean's not in the Top 10! Nor Scaia. I think I would have put Dean up there over Shannon.
Thanks for the link, Chris, as I am not a regular 411 visitor.
Edit: I also want to know how long Dean will gloat being rated higher than Rippa and Schneider? Forever?

I actually thought about this - bored - and guessed I'd end up somewhere around here, so it makes sense abstractly. But in context...hahaha NO.
What was the bribe for you to get 8-9-10 to line up right like that?

If Warrior doesn't go into seclusion for years on end, he'll easily move into the Top 15. Hyatt being 1 is a joke. Top 10 yes, 1 no. Sean Shannon being near the top 10 is a joke. The only reason anyone went to Rantsylvania was for Keith, and to the nwwwo was for other writers. Scaia probably should be Top 10, and since he didn't leave the net he should be ahead of Samuda. | Pool-Boy

The only issue I have is that I would have dropped Ashish and Widro (blatant homerism!) from the top 10 in order to elevate Scaia and Kunze. Forgetting Sushi-X I can kinda see, but RD? Yikes.

| #14 Posted on 31.12.02 0136.56 Reposted on: 31.12.09 0138.27 | | Two words, one name: Earl Oliver. Earl's tuesday morning reports were fantastic before I ran into the word for word recapping glory of CRZ. Earl always managed to try to bring new writers to add to his variety. I never gathered the stones to try to write for him, but it was the thought that he would give anyone a chance to participate on a more than message board level that I really found welcoming. Back in the day for me, Solie's Vintage Wrestling was one of the three sites I visited, and kept my interest enough to still be around today. For those wondering, the other two were Scoops and Micasa (both linked from Mr. Oliver's site). He welcomed me to his message board with open arms, and it was there that I had my first taste of debating wrestling related topics with others (although I was only about 15 when I started, I must say that I held my own). The discussions were just that, discussions. There were no flame wars or anything immature, as Earl kept a close watch on his guestbook (as both of the Zim brothers do here). I still look back fondly on those days of wCw versus WWF conversation when the nWo was all the rage and Vince was parading around the D.O.A. and Los Bariquas and groups of that sort. Earl is still around, and I still lurk on his site sometimes, and I will always consider Solie's to be home. | evilwaldo

Sean Shannon should be top 3. For those of you who missed the classic breakdowns on Delphi, you missed a lot. It was riveting in a pathetic sort of way. He put Hyatte on the map and made him what he is.
Don Becker should be higher for no other reason than he stopped by the Christmas Eve aPa chatroom. But very underrated and my personal favorite recapper.

They use the same writing style and sentence structure, and they both have little quirks about thier style that just makes me think this.
Also, notice that he didn't list himself in there but Hyatte was his #1 choice.
Hey, I just noticed that Jim Ross isn't listed. Shouldn't he be at least in the top 20 for his weekly Ross Report, which EVERYONE and thier mother reads every friday with out fail.

God, when he was completely losing what was left of his grasp of reality, he manically vomited the greatest stuff ever written on the internet. Who could forget the poetry on Seanshannon.org or the stories about going to parties with theatre people? I wanted to drive to whereever he was and hug him and tell that everything was going to be okay. And how was his musical career and how much would you have paid for mp3s of those songs? I don't think they print that much money.
