They won't be coming to San Diego. The arena here is older than dirt, and there isn't going to be a new one built. There have been way too many problems with the Chargers and their lease, and there were buttloads of lawsuits filed after the Padres stadium was approved by the voters of San Diego. The Sabres would have nowhere to play. My guess is Portland. Paul Allen could by them and put them in the Rose Garden.

Well, I can dream, right? Hopefully, if they have to move (I'd like them to stay in Buffalo), they'll move somewhere where they can keep their third jersey (see left) as their main jersey. After all, they're the SABRES, not the BUFFALOES. (I liked their original jersey's so much better).
For the love of all that is good, keep them away from Texas. Florida, too, has its share of franchises already. San Jose, Anaheim, LA... does Cali need another team?
New Orleans wouldn't be horrible, but I'd rather see them go ANYWHERE in Canada than to some crappy or glutted market in the southern US. Portland I could live with, too (though I'd prefer them to stay in the East so I can see them play live around here as much as possible).
