Triple H (Paul Levesque) met with Dr. Andrews on Tuesday, and was diagnosed with a partially torn right quadriceps muscle. Triple H tore his left quadriceps in May 2001, and was out of action for almost eight months as a result. In addition, Dr. Andrews found a massive hematoma in the outside of Triple H's right quadriceps.
Triple H told the website he believes the injury took place during his match with Jeff Hardy on last week's episode of Raw, and that he originally thought it was a charley horse. The injury was somehow aggravated during his match at the WWE's house show in Ft. Myers, Florida on Saturday. Triple H worked his match with Shawn Michaels on Saturday after receiving an anti-inflammatory drug. His right thigh was heavily taped and Triple H admitted that he was in a great deal of pain during the match.
Triple H will attempt to treat the injury through rest and rehabilitation over the next two to three weeks. According to the website, the injury may require surgery if the treatment is not successful.

If I'm Austin right now, I stay out as long as possible. Each day it appears more likely that Trip is going to need surgery, the more money he can extract from Vince to return, because since Trip is the only star on RAW (Vince's view that we've seen for a year), Austin can get back the money he lost for walking out and look like a genius. | Stephanie

Horrible.
I don't think trips will get the message unless Andrews tells him to knock it off. It sounds like he's got three weeks to get it healed, or he's getting a second extended vacation in three years. | ges7184

I mean, they have to notice the decrease in mobility, if nothing else, yet I don't see anybody dropping mass. Some people just like having insanely big muscles, I guess. | tomvejada

But Angle's a in great athletic shape since he's an olympic class athlete,in wrestling in which you must be extra careful for injuries(I know,I'm an amatuer wrestler) and thus he's well much more ready for them...

Yeah, Kurt Angle tears his quad all the time, I bet he tore it before, during and after his matchup with the Big Show, and again on Monday while working out, and probably tore both of the during the Smackdown tapings last night. | fuelinjected

Human growth hormone adds mass to the muscle and bone structure very quickly but the tendons and ligaments that hold that muscle and bone together do not grow at the same drug-induced rate. Pretty soon, there's too much strain on the tendons and ligaments and PLOP - the muscle rips away from the strings holding it in place.
If you abuse HGH, you get a lot of torn muscles, mainly in bigger, heavier muscle groups....like quadriceps. | drivebye14

Sorry, I was actually referring to Redsoxnation's quote about how Austin should hold out as long as possible. Got a little lazy and didn't quote. I don't know if Rock is on the gas or not, he's certainly buff, but not on the order of HHH. |
