Remember way back when, UT and Brock had that great "mutual respect" talk and BS came out and interrupted UT's speech about retiring? Didn't BS say that he was the reason UT was limping all over the country or something like that? Did they ever explain that?

The only time I can remember SHow causing Taker an injury was at the start of the year, during a hardcore title match. Even then it wasn't anything serious. I think Show's speech was more a reference to the storied history the two have.

Maybe UT took some injuries back in 1999 when Show chokeslammed him through the mat.

If I get the limping reference correctly, it may have been when Show was aligned with Shane and Benoit back in the summer of 2000. Cinder block to the knee comes to mind.

He said he had been busting up 'Taker all over the country. To me, it sounded like a reference to house shows. I don't think he was eluding to any specific point in time.

I think he said that for 2 reasons.

1. To establish himself as the heel in his feud with Lesnar. It was just a heelish acceptance of credit for something he didn't actually do. He then solidified his heel status by throwing Taker off the stage.

2. It was a subtle attempt to counteract all of the jobs Big Show was doing recently by reminding people about his past feuds with Undertaker.

I just know they let Big Show have the angle where he "injured" Undertaker instead of Brock, the dominant champion. That follows the same logic as letting Albert "injure" Rey Mysterio instead of Matt Hardy, who's actually over.

I'm bummed about that, because that will inevitably lead to a Big Show/Undertaker PPV match. And NOBODY wants that!
