One of the contestants on Jeopardy tonight mentioned that he watches professional wrestling. He went on to say that he was inspired to try out for Jeopardy because his favorite wrestler mentioned in an interview that Jeopardy was one of his favorite TV shows. The guy then held up a Tazz action figure that was on his podium. Alex Trebek asked him who it was and he said it was Tazz, his favorite wrestler.

That's got to be pretty cool for a guy like Tazz who doesn't normally get mainstream attention.

Tazz can get mainstream attention if he wants it. As much as I loved the old Taz, he would never have been anywhere near a mainstream media outlet. As much as people may bitch and moan about Tazz, the WWE machine has helped him get some sort of exposure.

I still think he should have been a full-time Tough Enough trainer. TAZZ~! would have never stood for the likes of Jackie Gayda getting that contract!

Not too good. He was in 2nd place with about $7,000 going into Final Jeopardy but, he bet all but $1 dollar and missed the final question. But, hey, he's got that snazzy Tazz action figure.

I saw the episode and the fan was a tool! He looked genuinely shocked every time he got an answer wrong. Oh well, any mainstream wrestling references are okay by me.
