He knew that by destroying our salary cap, trading for 90 points guards and not having anyone over 7 feet tall would ensure failure for the next five years! All thats left is simply laying down in the fourth quarter of every game, having the worst record in the NBA and getting that #1 pick. Of course Jerry West might be even more diabolical by getting Hubie Brown as coach.
That said, the same theory led to the downfall of Pitino in Boston (tanking the season for Duncan) but hey....its Scott Layden so we should all have faith!
