| #1 Posted on 26.11.02 0801.20 Reposted on: 26.11.09 0801.25 | You know I've heard NOTHING about the latest CD (or at least nothing relative to when I couldn't STOP hearing about "Beaucoup Fish" when IT came out) and it's been out, what, two months? but I must say that that "Two Months Off" is one catchy maxi-single, I tell you what.
Hint: buy the Australian single - prolly much cheaper than buying the UK #1 & #2 and you get just as many tracks...
1. Two Months Off (Radio Edit) 2. Two Months Off (King Unique Sunspots - Vocal Mix) 3. Two Months Off (John Ciafone Vocal Remix) 4. Tiny Clicks 5. Headset
For those of you unfamiliar with Underworld, this single would probably be considered not recommended by me if you tend to say "boooooooooooy this sure is repetitive" as a negative while listening to what we used to call "the electronica."
Site says the second single is due in January.

Boy I'm SO not used to being awake during the graveyard shift. What can I tell you, it's different from the others but you can listen and you KNOW it's them. Now, having said that, I should also say that I'm just as bad as everyone else in that I got the CD something like six weeks before release and I think I only managed to listen to it ONCE, so you can tell I was clearly overwhelmed. Ahem. I blame all the apartment moving. Anyway, listening to the single is rekindling my interest in the CD, so that's a good thing. Now all I gotta do is find the CD, har har. | #5 Posted on 30.11.02 0127.12 Reposted on: 30.11.09 0127.42 | Meep... I'd only heard bits of the original version of "Two Months Off" whenever I found it on Music Choice, but no urgent vocals? At least I have "Beaucoup Fish" and "Everything, Everything" to give me my Underworld jollies.
Speaking of which, wonder if they're still just as good live without Emerson. Was he still around for Everything, Everything? Because the versions of "King of Snake" and "Born Slippy" on there kick my ass in twelve different languages... | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
