"Brock Lesnar suffered a cracked rib at the hands of the Big Show, and might be more injured than he is letting on.
There is talk that Lesnar could miss six weeks, which could force WWE's hand in having him lose to the Big Show at the PPV.
If that happens, Paul Heyman could jump from Brock to the Big Show, setting up a big rematch for Royal Rumble."
Um...let me get this straight. Brock gets injured because Big Show fucked up...and they're going to REWARD Big Show by letting him win the title?!?!
Does anybody else see something seriously flawed about that logic? | Promote this thread! | | Excalibur05

It's not like they're MEANING to reward show, he's just Brock's opponent. It's a hole they dug for themselves.
Well...Survivor Series at the VERY least should be really interesting. Maybe it'll be here that we see our Screwjob ending? | oldschoolhero

Sunday, have Brock pull out the win with an F-5 on Show, but put him in considerable pain. He can't get up after falling on Show for the pin. End the match with Lesnar being carried off and make an announcement during the Elimination Chamber that his "x-rays show major damage to blah blah blah," ala pro football updates.
Thursday, Stephanie McMahon has no choice but to strip Brock of the WWE title and create...
A Smackdown-wide tournament.
Involve nearly everyone. You can probably get a 32-wrestler bracket out of their roster. It really wouldn't matter who wins as long as Brock gets a rematch for the title at the Rumble.
But what about Mattitude, WWE Champion? It ALMOST sounds believable. | Sinister Evil

If Brock has broken ribs, it wouldn't make any sense for him to try a power move like the F-5 on The Big Show. That would only aggrevate the injury more. | Lotty

Doing the F5 or the much-vaunted SSP would likely tip that broken rib over the edge and create a very serious injury. Jeebus, have a little heart about the guy's health. | DarrylTheHitman

| #8 Posted on 16.11.02 1506.35 Reposted on: 16.11.09 1512.13 | | Well, they could recycle the Mania 17 finish. Ref bump, whack Show with about 16 chairshots, pin him. Show wakes up, kills Brock, sets up injury, puts Brock out to heal. Big Show runs wild in meantime and whenever Brock comes back, Show demands a rematch. Rematch is No Holds Barred at Rumble, Brock does everything he can but can't stop him so to put him away he whips out the SSP. This hopefully gets Brock over huge as a face. Have Angle win the Rumble and begin the 2-month build to Mania. Only thing I'm not sure about is what Show would do for the Dec. PPV. Face Benoit or Angle and lose when Brock comes out and screws him over? | InVerse

Taker would be the obvious answer, though I don't know how long he's supposed to be out. Rikishi would be my guess as to Vince's actual preference, though. They should do a comedy match on Smackdown with Rikishi vs. Big Show in a ladder match where the ref finally stops the match after the fattest men in Sports Entertainment today crumble every ladder they attempt to climb. | DarrylTheHitman
