I don't think they can go wrong no matter which team wins. If Benoit and Angle win, they're forced to stay together to defend the titles. If Mysterio and Edge win, they can give a little stability to the titles. If the Guerreros win, they get the rub of being tag team champions.
Personally, I would give the belts to Eddy and Chavo because they would benefit from being champions more than the other members of the match. Promote this thread! | | The King of Keith

However, a six man tag elimination match between the six greatest wrestlers in the WWE is just too much for me. This is repayment. The WWE felt guilty for all the nonsensical Katie Vick BS they put us through. This is their way of saying "We're sorry. We're really really sorry." | HitTheSnoozeButton

I'd like to see see Angle/Benoit get em back, tho not voting for the Guerrero's is hard. Edge and Rey should drop the belts and go on to singles feuds. The Guerrero's winning would help them alot, but I'd rather see Benoit/Angle win so we could get more of this completely awesome storyline. | Big Bad

| #5 Posted on 15.11.02 0023.21 Reposted on: 15.11.09 0059.34 | I have to love all the respect for CHAVO! WHOO! One of the top six wrestlers in WWE? Amen. Isn't this the same guy who was goofing around with Hugh Morrus during the Invasion?
Even I, Wienerville's resident WCW mark, have been tremendously surprised by how over Rey Mysterio Jr. has gotten in such a short amount of time. Notice that four of these six guys were cultivated in WCW? (I'm just glad that WWE is doing something with this talent, instead of pissing it away like WCW did, but anyway...)
The real winners, as the Fifth Horseman so aptly put it, are us, the fans. If I had to make a prediction, I'd say that Rey and Edge retain because their reign will be less than two weeks old going into Survivor Series. That's the only reason I'm favoring them going in, because I'm not convinced WWE will necessarily hotshot the titles so quickly.
In actuality, any of these three teams could win. For that reason, and the fact that all six of these men are extremely talented, this will be the match of the night-- easily.
That is, unless Booker T becomes the six-time, six-time, six-time, six-time, six-time, six-time WCW Champion. Now can you dig that...

If Los Guerreros do win, that'd be Chavo's first belt since coming to WWE right? With all the title changes since the Invasion began I have trouble keeping track. | ekedolphin

That is correct, this would be Chavo's first belt since the WCW sale.
Edit: This would also make him the most recent wrestler to have held both the WCW and WWE Tag Team Title while both federations were independent of one another. Chavo (as Lieutenant Loco) briefly held the WCW Tag Team Title with Corporal Cajun (Lash LeRoux). Guerrero and LeRoux defeated Mark Jindrak and Sean O'Haire on a 10/9/00 show in Sydney, Australia. Commissioner Mike Sanders granted the Natural Born Thrillers team an immediate rematch, and they regained the belts in short order.

Plus, this opens up the opportunity for an Edge/Benoit singles feud, Rey Mysterio to HOPEFULLY rehab that knee, and Kurt Angle to do whatever the hell he wants, because that man can turn anything he touches to gold. | Smackfiend
