From the Dave:

The kiss between Eric Bischoff and Stephanie McMahon on the Halloween Smackdown could be the start of a major angle in 2003.

There is talk that the kiss will lead to a Bischoff/Steph alliance in the beginning of 2003, and they will team up to battle Vince McMahon for control of WWE.

This feud would be the major ‘power play’ feud at the top of the card in the first part of 2003, which each side gathering support.

So far, WWE has opted for a slow burn on the angle, and things could obviously change vastly between now and whenever the angle plays out.

Well, I don't know about you, but I'm ready for the top feud of 2003 to be between 3 non wrestlers. I mean, putting all the heat on the talent who go out and do all that "wrestling" is overated anyway. What we all want to see Eric Bischoff attractive to someone of the opposite sex.

I just like to be there when the idea is pitched, just to see the looks on the faces of the writers and bookers when they realize that it might happen.

Would this idea surprise me, no, because ever since they put those two as dueling GM's you knew that they were eventually going to team them up with sexual tension. What I do have trouble believing is that the WWF/E actually has an idea what they are doing next week, let alone next year. Remember when they were searching this site for Roulette ideas the week before that match.
Side not: Guru, anyway you can do what Zed would sometimes do, tell us what the geniuses at Titan were checking when they used this site?

How is that any different then what we've seen in WWE for the past 5 years? Put the focus on the wrestlers!

Hear, hear. Kill off any and all references to owners, CEOs, commissioners, presidents, GMs and any other titles of authority and just let the stories evolve from the characters themselves.

Ah, but if there were no owners/GM's, who would make the matches? It'd be anarchy. Even when TripleH and Steph took over in Jan. of 2000, *they* were in charge. Sure, it was a wrestler and his manager, but they were still in control. Having no one in charge would lead to anarchy. And think aboot this. If there were no Steph on Smackdown, there'd be no tag titles, no three way dance this sunday, and *no* Angle/Benoit angle. Think aboot that.

Good point but who made the matches back in the 80s/90s when it was only Jack Tunney around? Sure he made Hogan/Warrior at Mania 6 but the rest just happened. That's what I mean, I guess. If we must have figureheads, let them only make rare appearances to deal with something important. Let the rest of the feuds develop naturally without help.
