Anyways, why not get rid of Brand Extension by having Royal Rumble as a start. Have Smackdown and Raw both in the match, and the winner faces the World and WWE Champion at WrestleMania in a triple threat match. The winner, is new undisputed champion, eliminating brand extension, or going back to Undisputed Champion wrestles on both shows, ok I'll shut up now... | Promote this thread! | | ekedolphin

| #2 Posted on 13.11.02 2356.40 Reposted on: 13.11.09 2357.58 | Actually, I had a similar thought, but not an exactly identical one. The Royal Rumble would feature 15 RAW and 15 SmackDown Superstars. The winner would get a shot at either the WCW World Title (if a RAW Superstar wins it) or the WWE World Title (if a SmackDown Superstar wins it). That way, the Royal Rumble would be important in establishing which title theoretically has more value.
I'm still liking the two champions, two promotions thing for the time being. | tomvejada

I'd throw up, considering it'd be his fourth official rumble victory - though technically his 5th, since 1999 was overturned as soon as Vince gave up his spot in the Mania main event.

Also, just because Austin entered himself in the Rumble almost 10 months ago, doesn't mean he's gonna be in it. That quote was obviously made with the thought he was gonna be, ya know, IN THE COMPANY for the 2003 Rumble. Unless talks get started again and old wounds are healed, we ain't gonna see Austin in the Rumble. | LeechOfTheNight

Uh, I don't think anyone seriously believes that just because Austin said he was gonna be in the Rumble next year, that he'll definately be in it. Of course, I wouldn't rule it out. Hell, it would be really cool if the night after the Rumble he came out and said he told us 12 months ago he'd be in it. Now taht'd be consistency for ya!
I agree w/ Mystic, the Rumble should be a catalyst for the end of Brand Extension. Only, I'd do it differently. Recombine the titles at the Rumble and have the the Undisputed champion face the Rumble winner. If they don't do this, the Rumble is gonna lose some its appeal. Any other way of doing it would be kinda stupid. Even if Brand Extension doesn't end, then at least we'd be back to having one champion on two shows. I liked that a lot better than the crap they've been doing now (although, I don't think I'd personally be able to take having to see Brock Lesnar twice a week, once is more than enough for me). | rockdotcom_2.0

Why is that we scream and scream for the WWE to do something diffrent, to make a change to better the product, then when they do and actually stick with it we scream to go back to the old way? Do you really want to have deal with HHH on both shows? Dont you like Rey Mysterio? And Edge as a main eventer? And Benoit as a main eventer? These things dont happen without the split into two shows. Embrace change people... Smackdown right now is a great show. Why change that? Eventually Raw will get its act together. And then well have two great shows, with seperate storylines and great wrestlers. | Freeway

The idea is Benoit, Edge, Mysterio, etc ON BOTH SHOWS, then they can afford to shitcan HHH and bring back Austin. | Mattitude

Okay, there's be 15 Raw guys and 15 Smackdown guys. The last guy from each show in the ring gets a shot at his show's title, with the final winner getting to be in the main event of Wrestlemania.
For example, let's say Kane and Kurt Angle are the last two guys in the ring, and Angle eliminates Kane. Kane would get a shot at the Raw title and Angle would get a shot at the Smackdown title, but Angle would be in the main event at Wrestlemania. | ekedolphin

While I wouldn't mind seeing Benoit, Mysterio and Angle (not Edge) on both shows, Triple H would be on both shows as well... making each of them his bitch.

Like has been said, 15 RAW guys, 15 Smackdown guys (or alternately, a couple of debuting wildcarders). The last person from each Roster wins.
At Wrestlemania, the main event would be a 4 way Iron Man Match. You'd have 4 men, 2 from each show. After the hour ends, whoever has the most pins/submissions from each show wins their respective title.
Come on, who can resist a 4 way Iron man match?
Say, we have Angle and Brock from Smackdown, and Jericho and HHH from RAW.
Everytime Jericho pinned someone, he would get a point. RAW, Smackdown, it doesnt matter. If he were pinned by a Smackdown guy, the Smackdown guy would gain a pinfall, however, Jericho wouldn't lose a point, because a Smackdown guy beating him is irrelevant. if HHH pins Jericho, Jericho loses a "point". At the end of the match, Angle has more points then Brock, and Jericho has more points then HHH. Two new champs..
