| First, let me express that I really enjoyed the last WWE PPV. With that out of the way, I hugely dislike how a few days away from the Surivor Series, we STILL don't know more than three matches. And none are even survivor matches. What's the point anymore in calling it by that name, if there are no survivor matches? That's my 2 cents.|
Here's two more. I'd much rather see some sensible booking of the PPV matches. I have low expectations for the Elimination Chamber now, and I don't even think some of the people should be involved in that match. RVD is only there to get jobbed out because they're too bothered to think of something meaningful for him to do. I mean, if you put Christian in his place (the way RAW has been going lately), that would be pretty damn meaningful.
Does anyone remember those great survivor teams from the past where there was a captain for each team, and each side had guys who were feuding with guys on the other team? It made sense. In keeping with the good old days... this is the only way that Surivor Series would make sense to me. And I hope that the WWE just happens to do this:

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP (RAW)
ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH:
Triple H (c) vs. Booker T vs. Kane vs. Chris Jericho vs. Christian vs. Shawn Michaels
*Triple will win this Sunday, and he should - just to piss off the fans even more and give us even more reason for wanting to see him get the sh*t kicked out of him. When it happens (or if), it will mean a lot more than now or a month ago. I'm curious if anyone other than the winner of this match will benefit at all. Because you don't always have to win the match to gain something out of it.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP (SMACKDOWN!)
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Big Show
*Brock can't F5 the Big Show, so instead, he F5's Heyman. From there, the match should end in a no-finish, since it's not the main event, and four weeks of building up the Big Show makes no sense if they don't plan on continuing the feud after the PPV. They obviously will continue this feud, so a no-finish works fine here - in terms of storyline. And what a better no-finish than having a pissed-off Paul Heyman come to ringside during the match... and everyone thinks he's Big Show's new advisor. That is, until the lights dim... sirens blare... and BIG POPPA PUMP walks to the ring. Steiner beats up Brock to give Lesnar the DQ-victory. More than that, he debuts with Heyman as his advisor, and Big Show should be included in the group too. This gives Heyman something to do (help get Big Show over), and automatically puts Brock into a high-profile feud with Steiner, who isn't wasted with meaningless midcard feuds.

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP (SMACKDOWN!)
Edge & Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Eddie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit
*I hate watching people hot-shot titles, but Eddie & Chavo are in the right place at the right time. The belts should be around their waists while other face teams try to rise up and challenge them.

8-MAN SURVIVOR MATCH (RAW)
Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, Buh Buh Ray Dudley, and Tommy Dreamer
Lance Storm, William Regal, Rosey, and Jamal (w/Rico)
*Here, Rob Van Dam is the STAR PLAYER on his team. He's not main event material yet, since he's lost a lot of heat since his first couple months in the WWE. This match will be a spot-fest if all goes well. Think of the 4-way TLC match from RAW a month or two ago. RVD should get involved in a carry-over feud with Lance Storm, and maybe they do a double-countout or double-DQ here toward the end of the match. That eliminates the two leaders. Spike Dudley and Rico both do run-in's here, but only Rico's interference leads to an elimination on the opposition's team. Jeff Hardy should be beat up so bad that he can't continue anymore and the ref eliminates him without him being pinned. Long story short, as much as I dislike the guys, Rosey and Jamal deserve to survive -- if for no other reason than to try and give these guys a little heat. If not them, then on the face side, I would only suggest Tommy Dreamer as a possible survivor. And that's pretty weak, since he's bottom of the midcard heap.

8-MAN SURVIVOR MATCH (SMACKDOWN!)
The Undertaker, Rikishi, Billy Kidman, and Chuck Palumbo (w/the injured Billy Gunn)
Matt Hardy, John Cena, Jamie Noble, and D-Von (w/Ron Simmons)
*Undertaker is supposedly appearing on Smackdown this week, so I must assume that he's only doing so for an angle (and it hopefully doesn't involve Big Show....ugh). That said, the faces go over Noble, Cena, and D-Von (despite the outside interference by Ron Simmons against Chuck)... which leaves Matt Hardy to fend for himself. Matt then picks off the faces one-by-one in a fluke fashion and gets a dirty win over the Undertaker to finish it off. Since nobody wants to see Undertaker feud with Big Show or Lesnar anymore, a storyline with Matt Hardy is logical given Matt constantly bragging about beating the Taker twice already. Well, now he can say he has THREE wins over Taker.

8-MAN SURVIVOR MATCH (RAW)
Al Snow, Maven, Goldust, and The Hurricane
Chris Nowinski, Batista, Steven Richards, and Test
*This made is for a few reasons. ONE, the Tough Enough feud. TWO, for some reason, we're supposed to care about Test, Steven Richards, and the Hurricane. And THREE, Batista needs some fodder if they're going to do anything with him at all. And we already know they're not rushing toward putting him over established stars (the likes of Jeff Hardy, RVD, Buh Buh) just yet. Batista should be there to DESTROY the face team... and then the HEELS also!! With everyone down, he lets out that stupid roar of his and leaves. There. He doesn't go over, but he maybe gets over.
Once the dust settles, Nowinski comes out the sole survivor, just for bragging rights down the road.

WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP (RAW)
Trish Stratus (c) vs. Victoria
*Do we care? I don't like women's wrestling, so I can't decide who benefits from the win here. Oh, and it's a hardcore match. How... exciting.

OPENING MATCH FOR HEAT:
Raven and Johnny Stamboli vs. D'Lo Brown and Spike Dudley
*For those who don't watch Heat, Raven has feuded for a long time with D'Lo. Last week, Raven said something that some people interpreted as him bringing in his own Flock sometime soon. Also, last week, D'Lo and Spike faced off in a rare face-vs-face match during which D'Lo acted like his old heel persona. Spike got the upset win, but D'Lo got rid of his bad mood and shook hands after the match.
*D'Lo should turn heel already. He's of no use as a face anymore. He needs to turn on Spike in this match. In a perfect world, Raven and Steven Richards would be tag partners. But I'll settle for D'Lo joining the dark side and showing the vicious side we saw last week on Heat.

I do believe that when they hyped the match on Raw, JR did say that each member has to be put through a table, which would make it an elimination table match. Just a little twist on the old SurSer elimination match, but it looks like that's as close as we're going to get this year, unless Smackdown goes old school on us.
I was hoping they'd do a Raw vs. Smackdown SurSer Elimination match something like this:
Jeff Hardy/Bubba/Spike/Tommy Dreamer vs. Matt Hardy/D'Von/John Cena/Jamie Noble
Basically just a reason to throw together a few mid-card guys not doing anything into a traditional SurSer match that would have a little heat just because it's Raw vs. Smackdown and you also have the Hardys and Dudleys on opposite side, which would've gotten a crowd reaction when they mixed it up. Just SOMETHING like that for them to do.
