Unfortunately, Jericho ending the show as the only guy standing pretty much eliminates him from winning the Elimination Chamber match.

As I see it, only 3 guys have a legitimate chance of winning. Booker T has a slight chance but, I think the winner will definitely be either Shawn Michaels or HHH and right now I'm leaning toward Shawn Michaels, unless there's a swerve and Michaels ends up helping HHH win.

Like the Horseman mentioned, it is sort of an unwritten rule that the man standing alone at the last show before a PPV won't win the title or match that time around. I'm not saying it's impossible, but please don't get your hopes too high.

I know it is sad to say, but I really think that Shawn Michaels would be worse than Triple H. I might just be cynical, but passing the belt from one old guy to another for his last title run doesn't seem much of an improvement to me. I would much rather see Triple H retain the title this time and then pass it to Booker T or RVD later.

In addition, although Summerslam was a great match, Shawn Michaels has not shown us that he can put on an extended RAW main event week in and week out. In the coffin match he had a cameo for all of 2 minutes. Last week he helped Booker T to win and was in the ring all of 30 seconds. This week he was in a few segments but they probably totalled 5 minutes.

Can he really sustain a title run being in the main event for a month or two and putting on 10-12 minute matches? I'd like to hope he can handle it, but I'm not convinced. I would be willing to bet that he is one of the last 3 people into the elimination chamber, so he will be fighting for less time then the younger guys.

I gotta admit, much as part of me knows Y2J doesn't have good odds of taking the belt, I really REALLY want him to come out on top, especially after he hit his own partner with a chair for even thinking about winning the belt.

Only in WWE could you get a main-event-caliber push after being demoted from the main event. I still stand by my feeling that either Booker or RVD will win. If anything, since RVD has gotten absolutely no buildup whatsoever, I'll make him my odds-on favorite to win. I'm nothing if not silly, after all.

I don't see how you can say that Jericho has NO host, but Booker has a slight chance. If anybody other than HHH or HBK wins it then Jericho is the most likely choice, he's the only other real main eventer.

As for HBK not being able to work week in and week out, well that might be true. But HHH doesn't really do any good work week in and week out either.

Eh, now that I think about, who cares, no matter who wins Raw won't have a good World Champion.

Yes, but when I based my picks on this theory (whoever goes over on the last confrontation between the two before the PPV will lose), I always ended up shooting .500. So figure that out. (Then again, this type of match is a complete crapshoot.)

Wow. There's optimism for ya. Who is your idea of a good champion, might I ask? Every main eventer on Raw is in that match. (Weren't we just screaming for RVD and Booker in the main event a few weeks ago)? But oh, it wasn't up to standards of Wienerville. It's a 6-way piece of garbage, as far as they're concerned. I'm sorry, but this negativity is getting really sad.

With Jericho coming out on top only to be (probably) thwarted at the PPV AND the fact that he is starting to feud with Christian, I get the feeling that there is some type of turn in the works here.

Raw doesn't have any super strong faces - maybe that's what they're setting up.

The reason I said Jericho has no chance but Booker T has a slight chance is:

1. Jericho ended the last Raw before the PPV as the only guy standing. What's the odds that out of 6 guys in the match, the same guy will be standing after both the final show before the PPV and the PPV?

2. Over the past 2 weeks, they have been laying the groundwork for a possible Booker T vs. HHH feud. If Booker T were to win the title in the Elimination Chamber match, the groundwork is already laid for a Booker T vs. HHH feud for HHH to try to get his title back.

3. There's 2 heels and 4 babyfaces going into the match. If a heel wins the match, it will be HHH.

I think we're too quick to forget that in 2002, the impossible IS possible. So, I wouldn't be too shocked if Jericho pulls through. He was fun as Undisputed Champion.

Aha! But tonights Super Tuesday is the last Raw related show before the event, and who's still standing after it? Go Jericho Go! (Or Booker, or RVD, at this point I don't care)

I don't think that's silly at all. In fact, I'm picking RVD to win for the same reason. He's the guy who is being TOTALLY dismissed as having any chance in hell of winning. Therefore, he will.
