I mean, their match on RAW doesn't totally erase Booker's name from the roster, does it? Call me naive, but Triple H did resort to "cheating" to win, right? | skorpio17

Out of the top Raw wrestlers: Triple H, Jericho, RVD, Kane - I don't think Booker T has beat any of them. Weeks ago he was jobbing to 3 minutes. I don't see him getting a push no matter what the crowd says. | Ringmistress

I enjoyed their little promo before the match last night, and hell, we need something to end the year on a good note. I shouldn't be so quick to dismiss Booker T as the Champ after Sunday. Matter of fact I predict he will be, so there!

And too optimistic. Only way Booker is gonna leave MSG with that belt is if some fan swipes it and gives it to him in the parking lot. | Ringmistress

I'm looking forward to this match. It's the main reason I'm buying Survivor Series. All I ask is that they give me my money's worth. like they did at SummerSlam, not give me some bullshit finish with the promise of actual entertainment in the future. That's my problem with HHH's current reign. Everyone seems to be saying "Well, yeah, he's having bad matches with cheap finishes now, but they're just building to a big payoff."

No, actually I said I wouldn't be surprised like the rest of you if he won, I'm picking Booker T, okay?

Who did he job to the week before? AHHHHHHH see how it works? Trips will destroy Michaels and eliminate him, but Shawn will crawl back in to cost him the belt at the climax of the match. Sets up HBK/HHH 2 and Booker/Steiner.

He's been made to look like a fool since he's been there. Whether it's hiding behind a rail during the invasion, getting his ass kicked in a supermarket, or earning a meaningless recruitment into a stale faction, Booker cred went out the window long before last night. | fuelinjected

| #15 Posted on 12.11.02 1319.09 Reposted on: 12.11.09 1324.02 | Triple H versus Booker T was a potential PPV feud that people might have gotten into until Booker took the same old low blow/Pedigree finish. Heck, they even positioned Booker's pin last week as a fluke to make it ever so clear that Booker isn't on God's level.
Shawn taking out HHH and someone getting the pin to win the title is counterproductive and does nothing for the new champion. He'll just be a lame duck champion like Chris Jericho was.
Quick, someone name the last time HHH put over someone with upside potential. I don't mean do a Nash job, I mean seriously put a guy over. He never has and if you think he will now when he's got 1/2 the talent he had before, you're just kidding yourself. | SKLOKAZOID

It did take interference for Booker T to lose, but Triple H still appeared to be the dominant wrestler. He established himself on a level above Booker T and put him among the ranks of RVD & Kane as guys who HHH has proven himself better than, despite both holding minor victories in the past.
This will provide problems if Booker T comes out Sunday with the title, which I think he will, because Triple H has already been established as the superior wrestler. On Sunday, it will take either a five-on-one assault or a massive clusterfuck for HHH to lose the belt, thus giving HHH credibility. He won't lose decisively. If they wanted Booker T or Shawn Michaels to beat HHH for the belt, they should have made it a one-on-one match. Not some fancy "This is so cool you won't notice HHH looking bad!" match. The way this stands, it's like WWE dangling a shiny gold coin in one hand while giving you an enema with the other, which I'm assuming is quite hard to do, but WWE is pulling it off. | Evil Antler God
