seriously, most americans do not pay attention to canadian holidays. like your thanksgiving, Scott Keith would post "Happy Thanksgiving" in his posts on rantsylvania back in the day and everyone was like "WTF? you're a month early?" he'd be like "not in canada" and we'd be all like "OH, we just thought you were high. canadian, eh? that explains it."

Thats not what he was asking for, he was saying ONLY an american flag should fly, on a day celebrated by the entire fucking world, as the end of the First World War, and remembering ALL who died in armed conflicts.

It's not about what he said, it's about what he meant. If you listened to him, he said it as "I do not like it that Lance Storm and William Regal are shoving their anti-American attitude in our faces on this day celebrating the men and women who died for the ideals that Storm and Regal hate). I detected no non-story line related ill will in his voice, and I think it's ridiculous to look for some.

Fuck "getting heat on heels" this is about not acknowledging when people die in a war. That is a little more important than bullshit like sports entertainment, and that goes for ANY sport and ANY form of entertainment. Ross saying ONLY the stars and stripes should fly today is the same as saying the Canadians who died in WWI are worth less than the Americans who did, and that's bullshit. As a dual citizen of Canada and the States, I feel qualified to say JR said something stupid tonight.
No can intelligently dispute this. You can't make a WORLD WAR a part of a wrestling angle. It's disrespectful to men and women who DIED. Just like Sept. 11th should not be made into an angle. And no, I refuse to say it's 'just wrestling'. Fuck that. It's on TV in front of millions and it has a responsibility because of that.
