I guess maybe a mark for Booker like me isn't going to be able to see the story book title chase and run for the 5 time WCW champ. My honest hope for this week is on Tuesday HHH breaks up with Steph, on Wednesday he refuses to drop the belt to ANYONE and on Friday Vince and Steph decide to screw him out of the belt and give it to Booker T on Sunday.
But that ain't likely to happen. What's more likely to happen is HHH beating everyone else in the match. | DarrylTheHitman

(Oh, but that was because of Shawn Michaels!)
Umm...And tonight, HHH beat Booker because he cheated (and with a little help from Flair.
Honestly, like dskillz said, the match was just a way of putting two guys who could work a decent match in the main to set up a big brawl at the end.

And once again, HHH makes a potential main-eventer look like a little bitch. If you say that he's a cowardly, sneaky heel, then why is he overpowering Shawn in the ring, and winning after hitting his finisher EVERY FUCKING TIME???
So now we've got Booker, Kane, Jericho and RVD who've all jobbed in high-profile matches against HHH, and he's returned the favor by jobbing in some meaninless tag matches and a casket match only after he took his best friend's finisher.
Survivor Series? Kick-wham-pedigree on Michaels, champ retains. And the apologists will tell us how great it was.
I just can't believe they continue to blindly push this load. How much lower does the attendance have to get before they wise up? Guess we'll find out. | Lotty

Wasn't HHH just in another high profile segment earlier hyping the match? Why not have a Jericho/HBK, or even Jericho/Booker as the Main Event, and then having the Schmoz at the end? Would have had the same affect, only with a much more interesting match to watch... Bug the Camera HHHog had other plans I guess.... | oldschoolhero

Because, Jericho is 1/2 of the Tag Champions and WWE wanted to get in a title defense in before the PPV, and if you think Shawn is wrestling on free TV, you're kidding yourself.
HHH v. Either RVD or Booker was a good enough match as it was. The draw went to Booker.
The point is moot because the only thing most people will remember (if anything at all) by the time the end of the week comes around is the brawl at the end. That's what's important. | Simba

And while HBK got the pedigree and looked to be the "last man standing" at the end of the show...I was pleasantly surprised to see Jericho take him out with the chair. And that's coming from someone who can't stand Jericho.
One question about HBK though...is it his back injury that causes him to walk like he's got a load in his pants? Or does he think that looks cool? It's been bothering me for a couple of weeks. | Excalibur05

This is the second week that he's had that problem. Methinks he could use some new elastic. (The good news: At least it was black to match his trunks!)
