Tuesday's Gone, Simple Man, Freebird, Sweet Home Alabama, Don't Ask Me No Questions, Call Me The Breeze, Gimme Three Steps, also Skynyrd is the BEST hands down Ballad band ever, with Simple Man, Ballad of Curtis Lowe, and many many songs that don't get radio time but are incredibly good. They could do country, rock, blue grass, and still are an important band. | drjayphd

Is it okay if Bon Scott doesn't make it? I hear he's not available that day.

Yeah, it is a little scary. Then again, you do have to admit it's good to see them get their due. 'Specially the last three... while I respect and like some of AC/DC's songs, the Clash are up there in the Pantheon of Greatest Bands of All Fucking Space And Time, and Elvis Costello and the Police are just under that. | Big Bad

Heh, they were all big when I was in high school and college. I think Elvis Costello and the Clash were two of the most influential acts of the late 70s/early 80s and I own most of their stuff on vinyl. Vinyl, I tell ya. | DarrylTheHitman
