I want to get a cd burner, but would like a few opinions on what would be best.

I have a Sony VAIO Pentium II 333 Mhz with 256 MB of RAM, USB 1.1 and I'm running Windows 98.

I would think that an internal drive would be preferable because of the old USB connection.

Thanks

Get a 40x or 48x burner that has burn-proof. 24x isnt actually that bad either... but I wouldn't go much slower than that.

I usually buy internal drives because they are cheaper.
