Instead I'm bouncing around today with joy, because my New Year's Eve planning has just been done for me. As reported in NME, The Flaming Lips are bringing their always mind-blowing live show to Chicago's Metro to ring in 2003. The 2001 NYE show they did in Chicago is possibly the best concert I've ever seen live, so I guess the point of this post (other than just having to share this with SOMEONE, ANYONE!) is if you live near Chi-town this show will be one hell of a way to turn the calendar over. | Promote this thread! |             | Scott Summets
