Gotta love those Miami touch-screen voting booths that are changing people's voted for "Republican" canditates to the Democratic option... I wonder if there is any monkey buisness going on here... you would think they would have tested the damned things!

I taught at a University in Miami for a year, so I have some experience with the people down there. Well, here it goes: They are idiots! These people saying hitting a button puts up the other candidate are probably hitting the other button, but don't ever realize it. I mean, its not as bad as West Palm, where a few hours after people voted they said they voted for the wrong candidate. My statement when I used to be heading out of Miami: Time to go visit the Original Fifty.

Oh great, here we go again.. Of course, Jeb Bush won by a large enough gap that it didn't change the results this time, but this whole state needs a major fucking overhaul. (And I don't think it's gonna happen with a Bush in charge.)

How exactly did this happen...and like you say, shouldn't tests have been run? Or is this just another case of old people being ignorant and belligerant towards technology. I was in my cell phone company's main retail store to have them fix their crappy phone/service...and some 75 year old man was bitching about the atm-like machine they use to take payments now. Working at a 24 hour drugstore in an older/affluent section of this city has also enlightened me to the fact that many old people feel they are owed something. (like 39 cent pineapple on the last day of the ad)
