And during the match, the commentary would be like "Jamaal with the clothesline on ... And the crowd is really getting on Rico!"
I don't think I've ever seen that before, where the jobber team goes completely anonymous ... Strange.

So I wouldn't worry, they've got years to mend any broken fences and get back Todd Pettingill.

| #5 Posted on 4.11.02 0404.28 Reposted on: 4.11.09 0409.50 | Jonathan Coachman is gawd awful (can't believe no one has nominated in the worst commentator yet). I have no clue what his act is, but whatever it is I'm not getting it. Stop trying to be so hip and try calling a decent match. It even magnifies the problem when he has Lita, who I gave her credit in the beginning for not sucking too bad. But COME ON it's been a month lets get an actual commentator in there please. And NO the ratings hasn't' gone UP because a popular WWE superstar is on there, it actually stayed the same or went down so lets stop the Lita experiment... If it was possible it was probably even worse with D'lo. They were both doing schtick and I've never seen a duo put the protect over as "unimportant fake fighting" as those two did. He was tolerable with Raven because Raven had enough wit and knowledge to compensate Coach's awful ability.
Lita and Coach sucked but atleast there was one highlight for the Heat broadcasting team. YAY LILIAN, with a pretty funky hat (very similar what Trish wears away from the arena, hmmm), I want to see more of Lilian! Victoria talked about having to shovel snow? Isn't she being introduced from LA California? How much snow is there?... I'm excited in seeing Trish/Victoria go at it hardcore style, and have confidence in both of their abilities. But this thread was talking about announcers and we do have the biggest piece of turd doing colour on RAW. So these girls aren't going to get any favors from him. And I wonder if it's even worth the risk.
-Jamal/Rosie vs. literally Jobers- was pretty poor. But the other 2 matches were good... -Jindrak/ Credible- Best match I've seen for either of these guys in a while. Real nice effort. -D'lo/Richards- This was a great match, totally enjoyed it. Richards really does pull off some real good matches once in a while. Especially recently with opponents I don't think much of (I'm not a fan of D'lo). I wouldn't mind Richards getting some more Raw TV time. He is kinda underrated (should have nominated him)

Still, as soon as those words rolled outta Raven's mouth, I couldn't help but think of this audience participation line from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show":
"This better be good, you got shot last week!"
