I bought "Nirvana" yesterday and its pretty good. I never heard "Been A Son" before, and I liked it. I also liked the remastered version of "Pennyroyal Tea." And "You Know You're Right" gets better every time I listen to it.

IIRC, Due to the partnership that is Nirvana LLC, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Courtney Love (representing Kurt Cobain) all receive an equal portion of the proceeds.

Damn, Dave's just got his hands in everything. The local mode--oh, wait, "NEW ROCK" station here keeps mentioning that he has three singles on their airwaves with three different bands (YKYR, the new Foo Fighters song, and Queens of the Stone Age's "No One Knows"). And at least Krist is trying to do something useful with his life (see: his band with Sublime's drummer and Curt Kirkwood... Bright Eyes, right?).

Eyes Adrift. Bright Eyes is a one-man band that's apparently really depressing acoustic emo, I haven't bothered to check him/them out because, well, that doesn't sound too appealing. Eyes Adrift just sounds like early/mid-90's radio filler to me.

Well, living in the back of beyond as I do, a mere 4 hours from Alaska, neither the new Foo Fighters CD nor the Nirvana CD has arrived in the local store. Nor do I own a credit card or would trust using it on a website. I also don't d/l music so I have yet to hear YKYR. Having said all that, I think they could have added a few tracks to the CD. Dive, Big Cheese, Aneurysm, and Verse Chorus Verse to name 4. I personally would put Even In His Youth on there as well but I know it was "only" the B-side of "Smells Like Teen Spirit"--I really like the song anyway.
