I just got great tickets to Survivor Series Section 206, Row D. I got in the middle price range which is $400/100/75/60/45/30. After two days, only the $400 (keep the chair) tickets have sold out. Even with the crappy main events of Big Thing/Big Slow, Triple H/Kane. I think it will be a good show based on the history of the Survivor Series and MSG.

For any wieners going to the show, I'll be hanging out at Sbarros and talking wrestling.

I'm Going to Survivor Series.

Congratulations! Any plans for signs? If not, hold up a big red Weinerville sign and rotate it so we can spot you!

And eat a hot dog. They're delicious!

I'm going to. I also got the $75 tickets, which were section 231 (I think) also Row D. They actually came to $88 apiece with all the fees and shit.

I've got to say though, looking at the seating chart I really think it's a bit of a ripoff. We're essentially in the balcony at 88 bucks a pop. This had better be a damn good show.

My ticket came to $91.50 with fees and shit. But, I think the seats are good. At least we aren't stuck in the corner. Also, I'd rather be up a level sometimes, then ground level in the back rows. It's a ripoff in that I got better tickets to the same Survivor Series at MSG 6 years ago for less than half the price. But, I'm crazy enough to pay it.

For sign ideas, nobody named Eddie mows my lawn. I'm not crazy enough for the "The Real Big Show is in my Pants." sign. My choices are:

Triple H Holds Down Ratings

Brock Fears Goldberg

You Screwed Bret (5 year anniversary)

What? (only used during an Angle promo)

FIVE STARS (used for RVD finisher and Angle/Benoit match)

I might just play it safe with an RVD or HBK sign.

I get tickets to all the local WWE shows here and if there is one thing i hate, its a fan in front of me with a sign who thinks its more important for them to be able to hold their sign than it is for me to watch the event. Its especially boring at house shows where one would wonder why they would do it.

This past weekend I received an early birthday gift from my roommate, and so I will be going to the Survivor Series as well (which leaves just 3 of the big five PPVs left to go to...I'm SO close to realizing my dream :-).

Of course my seats are WAY above my fellow Weiners (some section in the 400's for me) so I won't be making any signs, but I am stoked to be going to MSG for the first time ever.

If I were to bring signs, these would be my picks:

Until I read this thread, I was sure that there was no point in going to SS because everything would be sold out but the nosebleeds -- last time I went to MSG (for a house show), I showed up at the box office on the day the tickets went on sale and still wound up off in the howling wilderness of the 300s. But hearing good seats were still available, I zipped over to Ticketmaster and picked up a seat in section 128 -- wish I'd had the sense to try on Saturday or Sunday, though.

I don't plan on bringing a sign, just my trusty Cactus Jack t-shirt.

As of Monday afternoon, there are still seats left in the 300 level.

I'll tell you what, if WWE can't sell out MSG for Survivor Series, then that is just sad. But I will guarantee you that if they get a shitty gate there, then heads will roll in Titan Towers. I think Vince takes a lot of pride in running PPV events from the Garden. It's the company's home building. And this isn't just a house show, it's a Big 5 PPV. A less-than-capacity crowd at MSG is a very damning sign for the current state of business and even Vince has to realize that.

The fact that they're charging an arm and a leg for tickets in not-such-great times might have something to do with it if they don't sell the place out. This thing is costing me bring-my-lunch-to-work for a month.

EDIT: Also, if you're going by yourself, it's fairly easy to get a ticket pretty much anywhere at anytime before the event (and this goes for any stadium/arena event, not just wrestling). It's getting two seats together that's hard.

Even a "sellout" is usually considered an event where there are no two seats together. Just due to ticketing logistics and such, it's almost impossible to avoid an empty seat here and there.

Looks like I have the best seat of all in this thread! Look for FurryHippie in section 102, row A! I'll be DEFINITELY hard to miss, dressed in full Hulk Hogan gear, Fumanchu and all -- it's more of a personal joke with my cousin, as obviously Hogan won't show =(
