That song should be permanently implanted at the bottom, if only for its alarmingly low quality-to-airplay ratio. It should never have been written, and yet it's all the station here plays.

It's hovering in the same territory as Good Charlotte, though a bit higher...hey, guess what just came up on my random playlist, what a coincidence. But, anyway, "She Hates Me" I actually kind of like it because it's just so...simple and stupid. It'd probably break the forty if it was like the forgotten fourth single but as it is it's just hovering near the lower-middle thanks to the wonder of K-ROCK (even if they do have a newfound QotSA love).

-The new video is odd, but then considering her videos tend to make a couple token M2 and VH1 appearances and then disappear I tend not to pay them much heed. I love her but I have come to the conclusion the videos are just a weird joke on the music industry or something designed solely for her amusement.
-Sigur Ros may be one of the most polarizing bands I've ever seen, with the possible exception of Godspeed You Black Emperor. The people who turned me onto them are nearly fanatical in their devotion to their music, going into rhapsodies over their work. Those who haven't liked them had no "eh i liked some of it but..." Oh no, it's full out "bad, bad bad bad!" Oh well, one man's "gorgeous ethereal force of nature transmuted into musical form" is another's "dude, is this fucking ENYA?!" :) | drjayphd

Well, it's not just "simple and stupid", it's moronic. They force rhymes throughout the entire song (like the classic couplet to open the song, "Met a girl, thought she was grand/Fell in love, found out firsthand"). That's not gleefully dumb, that's insultingly stupid. | Feely

Re: Sigur Ros: Heard one of their songs (live on Kilborn), and, well, meh. I can see how people fall asleep listening to it. I almost did. Then again, whenever I listened to it, it almost always immediately followed Sense Field's "Save Yourself" (also from Kilborn). Kinda hard to compete with that.  | Feely
