Time to look at how the family McMahon will screw up yet another PPV.

Tori vs. Dawn Marie: Nice to see no cruiser title match on another PPV so we can get the Al Wilson story played even further. Who cares. Dawn Marie because she annoys me less.

Trish vs. Victoria: Could be a decent female brawl. Hopefully they don't mention that they were actually lesbian dominatrixes when they were on the fitness circuit. Victoria wins because they need to keep something going in the women's division.

Benoit/Angle vs. Edge/Rey-Rey: Should be match of the night. Edge/Rey-Rey win to set up a feud with Los Guerreros, Benoit/Angle split to give us a great match at Survivor Series. This prediction makes sense based on a future prediction.

BookDust vs. Christian/Jericho: Can Jericho not job on PPV 2 straight months? With WWE logic, Christian/Jericho retain in a good match, Booker and Dustin break up and begin a feud.

Flair vs. RVD: The tank is on empty for the Nature Boy. Thus, with McMahon logic, Flair beats RVD after a sledgehammer shot, setting up a rematch at Survivor Series.

HHH vs Kane: Paul Bearer returns and claims he molested Kane as a child, and would force Kane to watch him perform necrophilia at the mortuary. Why not, this angle is already hideous enough already, just take it further. Brawl match, Trip wins.

Taker vs. Brock (HITC): Everyone believes this is a no brainer, with Brock going over Taker. As what happened when Al Bundy won the Senior Olympics: HAS ANYBODY BEEN WATCHING THE PAST 12 YEARS. Taker goes over Lesnar to win the WWE Title, allowing a rematch at Survivor Series where Taker might find it in the goodness of his heart to drop the strap back to Lesnar, but Taker will have the honor of being the first person Brock jobs to.

Torrie v Dawn Marie: Rumours are that Dawn Marie can work if forced to, so this might not be total crap. Yeah, right. Dawn Marie

Trish v Victoria: Should be better than the first. Victoria for the upset

Benoit/Angle v Edge/Rey: Benoit/Angle take for another month of Crazy Tag Team Who Can't Get Along Goodness, leaving Rey to go for Noble and Edge to go for Lesnar.

BookDust v Jericho/Christian: Canadians retain to give a slight impression of stability in the tag-team ranks.

Flair/RVD: RVD wins if they plan on anyone on RAW having heat.

HHH/Kane: HHH. Nothing to see here

Brock/Taker: Taker no sells, gives Brock an ass-kicking, stops to throw Matt Hardy off the top, at which point he is distracted enough for the roll-up pin.

Hell in a Cell, Smackdown World Title: Brock Lesnar v. The Undertaker. Two things are definitive here - 1) Brock Lesnar will win because putting the title on Undertaker will destroy so much goodwill that Smackdown has built up that it would leave no hope for the company. It should be a squash, but it probably won't be, if Unforgiven was any indication. 2) Mattitude will interject itself and end up taking the signature bump.

Raw World Title & Intercontinental Title Unification: Teo v. Kane. Let me make this clear - everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, even the stupid Katie Vick murder angle that's been driving this car for the past two weeks, makes the correct and logical decision to be Kane going over for the title. Thus, I can say with confidence that Teo will unify the titles as the WWF will continue to butt-fuck us in regards to him. *deep sigh*

Smackdown Tag Team Titles Tournament Finals: Edge & Rey Mysterio v. Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit. Oh, you know that this is the match I'll be watching this show for. I still think a smarter decision would have been to put the Guerreros over Angle & Benoit yesterday and sign another Angle/Benoit match for the PPV, which would have had two advantages: 1) A second great PPV match, and 2) No foregone conclusion here, which says that Edge & Rey win handily.

Raw Tag Team Titles: Chris Jericho & Christian v. Booker T & Goldust. I bet Teo will say "Why don't we put the faces over here to keep everything in balance" with a sly wink towards Vinnie Mac, but the Booker/Jericho feud is still gathering steam and so I have to say that the duo of Canadian Gods will go over to prolong this feud, which is a GOOD THING, trust me.

Rob van Dam v. Ric Flair: Ric hasn't even wrestled since last month's match with Jericho, which got totally negated by his turn in the Teo/RVD match there (see what I mean about Teo coming up with every conceivable idea known to man to hold Jericho down), but with heels going over in 3 out of 4 top matches and an embarrasing loss by RVD in the Canadian Lumberjack match last week, he pretty much has to go over here or his main event aspirations are over.

Women's Title: Trish Stratus v. Victoria. They've definitely got something interesting here going on between these two that they have to keep up, and when you have to keep a feud going, the smartest move is always to put the heel over. Still, I have to say Trish retains because she's the only viable face in the division, so a Victoria win would only prove to hold back the other heel women. Besides, we have too many heels going over on this show already.

Torrie Wilson v. Dawn Marie: Whoopee fuck. Dawn Marie, because Torrie's won too many lingerie contests lately. Zzzzz.

Torri vs. Dawn: Part of me wants Dawn to win cause she was in ECW, can bump and looks like a real girl. However, Torri also wins these things. Torri with a face-sit pin.

Trish vs. Victoria: It would make sense to have Trish drop the title, but she was chasing Molly forever for that title and now she loses it in her first title defense on PPV. It would make no sense. So, I say Victoria can get the win, so Trish can chase the title for one too many months then job it someone else a few weeks later. Where have I seen that before?

Benoit/Angle vs. Edge/Rey-Rey. This will be fun regardless, you have Smackdown's best performers in one ring. I say Edge and Rey cause they have the automatic fued with the Guerros, but I sense Edge maybe getting his title shot sooner than people think. Benoit/Angel which leads to some great matches.

The Book N Dust Connection vs. Oh Canada you still suck: Booker T and Goldust need the win, so I say give it to them. It will pop the crowd and its part of the make Booker T like Rock plan. Plus, Jericho works better alone and Christian just needs more mic time and less gimmick to get over as a singles wrestler.

HHH vs. Kane: If HHH doesn't win this thing, I'll be literally shocked. If he does win, don't be to shocked if Kane isn't booed or drops it on Monday Night. If they would have cleared up the angle prior to the PPV ie HHH is lying to distract Kane then I'd given Kane a shot. Now, I think this is the end of his push and probably will turn heel because of it. Thank you, Vince and Steph for totally killing another long WWE career.

Flair vs. RVD: RVD should go over here, pretty quickly unless HHH interfers. To his credit, Flair is putting over the younger talent regardless of what the net thinks. I personally think he puts some talent over too much coughJerichocough. Anyway, it should be fun seeing Ric take the five-star and trying to keep up with RVD.

Brock vs. Taker: Taker is going to job. It seems to me this Hell in the Cell match should have been at Unforgiven instead we get it now. I say its a month too late and has done more damage to Brock's reign than job he is or was going to do in the near future. Taker should just get destroyed like Flair, Rock, Hogan and most of the guys Brock's faced. He should, because too many people are pissed inside and outside of the locker room already for pulling the no job stunt at Unforgiven.

A Fan- Man, weak PPV, glad, I;m not ordering it.

WWE No Mercy 2002 Predictions

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Hell in a Cell
Mr. Invincible, Except When The Undertaker Makes Me Look Like a Bitch (C) vs. The Lovertaker

What should happen: Brock Lesnar should win cleanly, beating the living holy hell out of The Undertaker in the process and forcing him off of my television for all eternity.

What I think will happen: The Undertaker will find a way, somehow, to defeat Brock and regain the WWE Title. He'll then retain the title over guys who can actually work, such as Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero. Joy.

WCW World Heavyweight Championship
Banging the Boss's Daughter (C) vs. Banging My Girlfriend's Corpse

What should happen: Kane should win cleanly, beating the living holy hell out of Triple H in the process and forcing him off of my television for all eternity.

What I think will happen: Triple H will find a way, somehow, to defeat Kane and retain the WCW Title. He'll then retain the title over guys who can actually work, such as Rob Van Dam, Booker T and Chris Jericho. Joy.

Grudge Match
PTS vs. WHOO! The Naaaaatcha Boy! WHOO!

What should happen: I'd say Ric should get the win through nefarious means here, extending the RVD-Flair feud just a little bit longer to make it seem sweeter when Van Dam finally gives Flair his comeuppance. RVD should then move on to defeat Triple H for the WCW World Title.

What I think will happen: Pretty much the same thing, only I think RVD will be made into Triple H's bitch yet again when it's all said and done. In the long run, everyone on the RAW roster is Triple H's bitch.

(WCW?) World Tag Team Championship Match
A Huge Rock Star and Christiiiiiiiian! (C) vs. Can you dig it, sucka? and ssssssssss... Goldust

What should happen: Well, I'd like to see Y2J and Christian retain here, because tag team titles so routinely switch hands like a $3 hooker. Lance Storm and Christian actually provided the most stability the tag belts have had in some time.

What I think will happen: I think Booker T and Goldust finally go over here, at long last winning the tag team titles. And hey, I'm cool with that, too. I'm a fan of both of these teams.

(WWE?) Tag Team Championship Match
Here comes Chris Benoit and he's really mad and You Suck, What? vs. The guy from the Japanese hair commercial and the little guy from the Austin Powers movies-- you know, that Mini-Me guy

What should happen: This Benoit/Angle angle is quite entertaining, and I'd love to see it continue with a Benoit/Angle victory here.

What I think will happen: I think Benoit and Angle will win the tag team championship here, instantly becoming the Greatest Tag Team Champions Ever. They'll hold it for a short while, and when they lose it, each will blame the other. A hellacious feud will ensue. Who wins? Us, the fans!

WWE Women's Title Match
Trish Stratus vs. Victoria

I neither know, nor particularly care. I don't care about Torrie/Dawn Marie, either. Sorry, I'm not a sexist pig, I simply haven't been given a reason to care about women's wrestling. But what the hell, I'll throw out brief predictions. Victoria. Torrie. There you go. Now bugger off! ;)

Well, since (hopefully) no one seems to be interested in watching an Undertaker-Brock Lesnar WWE Title match inside the Hell in a Cell, nor watching a Triple H-Kane WCW Title match with all the bullshit that's gone on between them...

The blame must lie with Chris Jericho. Dammit, Jericho, why couldn't you get everyone to buy the PPV based on your great feud with Booker T, which we built up for two weeks in advance for a combined total of about ten minutes? I will now use the power of the Continuum Transfunctioner to banish you to Hoboken, New Jersey!

Brock, of course (even though it should be HHH, Taker, and/or the HHH/Kane storyline).

Having *2* women's matches doesn't help either, while Jamie Knoble sits @ home shining his CW belt, while Eddy & Chavo bring the chips & dip and Helms brings the beer.

When Vince looks in the mirror and sees the horrendous buyrate, it will be obvious to him what was wrong: To Much wrestling, not enough Soap Opera. I mean, who cares about the Angle/Benoit team, when Trip could be out there talking about how RVD traveled back in time to sodomize and kill Abraham Lincoln (Oh wait, thats a spoiler for next month.)

Alright, a few thoughts on the red-headed stepchild of this year's PPV calendar:

Torrie Wilson v. Dawn Marie Wilson: They pretend to wrestle for a couple of minutes, when Al Wilson runs in, but is mentally torn on who to hit. Thankfully DEAN comes out of nowhere and helps convince him to interfere on Dawn's behalf so he can continue his own personal sexual renaissance.

Trish v. mini-Chyna: Victoria in a match with possible potential to move quite far away from the land of suck if the stars are aligned just right. Truly disturbing thought, this match could end up being the third best of the night, ahead of both World Title matches.

BookerDust v. Canadians: On a nite where the crowd is going to see heels going over in the three main matches, something needs to happen to pop them (other than the inevitable death of Matt Hardy). BookerDust finally get a crowd popping win on PPV.

RVD v. HHH's dad: RVD wins. Tension is teased between Flair and HHH so that we will be SO SHOCKED when Flair helps out HHH later in the night. Scott Keith calls for Flair to retire, and for once feels the odd feeling of being agreed with by lots of people.

The Greatest Tag Team ever vs. Toothy and the midget: I win this match, because this will be a nugget of wrestling gold in a sea of sports entertainment shit. Of course just to spite the net fans Vince might book this for 5 minutes and give the Dawn/Torrie angle 20 min. Edge/Rey win because they will look like golden gods working with our heroes. Angle/Benoit take the belts and continue the Russoriffic angle of feuding partners.

Necrophile vs. Hairless Everywhere: My guess is Kane hits 3 tombstones in the middle of the ring. Thinking HHH dead he gets aroused and begins to sprout a woody and take off his unitard. This gives HHH the opportunity to roll him up for the pin and continue to show why he is the cerebral assassin. That or Flair comes out and a sledgehammer gets involved. Either way, Kane is not leaving this PPV with the belt unless he carries HHH's luggage for him.

I beat Rock and Hogan, Remember?! vs. "Ace" "Cowboy" Bob Undertaker: Rather than discuss the match, I would instead just make a plea to you generous Wieners to donate early and often to:
Matt Hardy Memorial Fund
c/o WWE Inc.
1241 East Main Street
Stamford, CT 06902
We will remember him, and to honor him let us all live our lives with just a little more Mattitude in them each day. As for the match, after the unfortunate demise of Matt Hardy, Brock gets a cheap, tainted, unhelpful win, and again gets his ass kicked after the match by the Heatkiller. I likely will have tuned to Sunday Night Football by this point.

No Sunday Night game this week. Remember this, while Brock went over Flair,Hogan, and Flex; Taker went over Flair/Austin/Hogan/Trip in consecutive PPVs. How can someone who went over Trip job to a rookie?

Wait...We internet smarks are bitching about how we don't want to order a PPV because of storylines? Get out of town! We don't care that there'll be good wrestling on the card dammit! Especially not when we can come up with edgy nicknames and make fun of the McMahons!

That being said:

The Undertaker v. Brock Lener (w/ Paul Heyman)
Hell in a Cell for the WWE Heavyweight Title
Winner: Brock Lesner
Thoughts: A decent brawl, which both Brock and Taker are capable of. We (and by we I mean you) won't like it because we (you) hate anything Undertaker does. Heyman will try to get involved but he'll end up taking some kind of mini-bump. Mattitude will take the flying Foley bump. Children around the world will cry as Brock capitalizes on all the distractions (Taker's personal life, his broken hand, Matt and Paul's interference) and goes over Taker. Taker takes some time off to care for baby 'Taker.

Dawn Marie v. Torrie Wilson
Winner: Torrie Wilson
Thoughts: This match is simply there to let the crowd stretch, get something to drink, etc. before the main. Nobody used to bitch about matches like this. Al helps Torrie, because blood is thicker than...well...you know.

Kane v. Triple H
To Unify the WWE World and Intercontinental Titles
Winner: Kane
Thoughts: For all of his scheming HHH hasn't really done anything but piss Kane off. A ref will be bumped, a few phantom pin falls from both sides. Kane will overpower in the end. The match will be better than one would expect, but everyone will still complain.

Victoria v. Trish Stratus
For the WWE Women's Title
Winner: Victoria
Thoughts: Trish is better when she's placed in the underdog role, and this feud has all but done that. A big step in doing that will be putting Trish back into the title hunt, rather than have her be the champion.

Rey Misterio/Edge v. Kurt Angle/Chris Benoit
For the WWE World Tag Team Titles
Winners: Kurt Angle/Chris Benoit
Thoughts: Disfunctional tag teams make for some good TV, if they're done right, and Kurt and Chris' theory of "trying to out do eachother during tag matches" is a fun one to watch. Of course Benoit and Angle will be feuding together for the next couple of weeks, and what better way that to make sure that they're forced into matches with eachother, rather than against eachother. Pride will cause neither to want to lose the titles, but when someone does (two or so weeks later) it's on.

Rob Van Dam v. Ric Flair
Winner: Rob Van Dam
Thoughts: HHH will be too conserned with his match later to interfer on Flair's behalf. Flair will pull out all the stops to try to take out Van Dam, but in the end it will be too much.

Booker T./Goldust v. Chris Jericho/Christian
For the WWE Tag Team Titles
Winner: Chris Jericho/Christian
Thoughts: The heels cheat to win as Booker and Goldust lose another PPV title match. In the end, the faces feel cheated and start the chase anew, while the heels try to cut corners to get out of another match.

Seven matches, and I imagine one or two more will be added on Heat to even out the card a bit more.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Noble Vs. Tajiri added to the card, which should up the quality somewhat. But two women's matches? You're pushiing me, WWE.

Torrie Vs. Dawn Marie
WINNER: Dawn via pinfall after ALLLLLL WIIIIIIILSON provides an unintentional distraction for his daughter.

Women's Title Match
Trish Vs. Victoria
WINNER: Trish via pinfall, but she uses the ropes, causing Victoria to flip at her "holding her down again" and beat the crap out of her post-match.

World Tag Team Title Match
Chris Jericho/Chris Tian Vs. Booker T/Goldust
WINNERS: I would dearly love to see Booker/Goldust get a tag title reign, but I don't think it's happening here. Champs retain via (cheating) pinfall.

Rob van Dam Vs. Ric Flair
WINNER: A good idea would've been to give Flair a coupla victories with the figure four leading up to this, possibly over Bubba and Jeff Hardy. Instead I think he's such a lost cause that he'll go over via pinfall so that WWE can milk him juuuust a little more.

WWE Tag Team Title Final
Kurt Angle/Chris Benoit Vs. Edge/Rey Mysterio
WINNERS: I really, realy don't like the idea of having feudin' champs, so I'm gonna go for Edge/Rey via pinfall. I was actually routing for Los Guerreros to take it all, but I'm sure they'll get their chance in the near future.

World Title/Intercontinental Title Unification Match
Triple H Vs. Kane
WINNER: As much as I hate the storyline-and HHH right now-he really should go over, cheating or not. Kane's character is just totally dead at this point and I can't think of a worse candidate for World Champion. Well...maybe Jeff Hardy.

Hell In A Cell Match For WWE Title
Brock Lesnar Vs. Paul Heyman
WINNER: I pray to God that Brock goes over. At this point I don't even care if it's a totally crapy finish, I just cannot stand the idea of ANOTHER Taker title reign. COME ON BROCK.

2 out of 7 matches being good on paper does not make it a good wrestling card.

Okay, before I begin, here's a fantasy prediction for Heat:

Noble vs. Tajiri: Tajiri wins, since the title is not on the line.

With that said, it's time for The Great Thomas No Mercy Predictions! Please Support Chris Benoit!

Torrie vs. Dawn Marie: Dawn Marie wins via Mr. Wilson distraction, because I'm sick an' tired of seeing Torrie get over. Seeing her running out of the locker room crying after catching her dad in the shower with Dawn Marie had to be the greatest thing I ever seen. Go, Mr. Wilson, go!

Trish vs. Victoria: Victoria wins, since the title changes hands every month. Plus, it's time to put over some YOUNG BLOOD, BY GAWD!

Jericho/Christian vs. Booker T/Goldust: Book-Dust wins.

RVD vs. Flair: RVD wins. RVD always wins. Except against Trippulaytch. Okay, there was that one time, but you know what I mean.

Tag Team Tournament (Finals): Benoit/Angle win, because they are the greatest motherfucking tag team in the history of the world! Please Support Chris Benoit! And Angle, too!

The Main Event: Trippulaytch vs. Kane: Kane wins, causing J.R. to have a near-heart attack from screaming into his mic: "KANE DID IT! BY GAWD, HE DID IT! THE BIG RED MACHINE IS THE NEW WORLD CHAMPION! MY GAWD! BY GAWD! GOVERNMENT RABID OLYMPIC!"

The Main Event: Lesnar vs. Undertaker: Lesnar wins, because if he gets beaten by Undertaker, I swear I will put an axe through the TV. Hardy v.1 will do a Foley bump off the ladder through the announce table, but Cole won't scream about it just as good as J.R. does it. F5 on the top of the cell, that's his move! 1, 2, 3.

That's all for this week. Until then, Good Night, Please Support Chris Benoit, take care of yourselves, Please Support Chris Benoit, and above all else, Please Support Chris Benoit! That is all.

Please Support Chris Benoit!
