If you happen to be in Denver either tonight or tomorrow night, might I suggest (as both an investor and a brother of the producer)that you head on over to the Denver Film Festival (Starz FilmCenter at the Tivoli on the Auraria Campus) to see HOME ROOM starring Erika Christensen, Busy Phillips and Victor Garber. Thursday night at 6:30pm and Friday night at 9:00pm.

If "Zero Day" is there, you need to see it. PLEASE BELIEVE ME.

This film rocked the ass, so to speak. It's been shown at a few East Coast film fests, and won the audience prize at FFNH. The director said it was on its way to a festival in Colorado... hmm... (It's about two kids planning an attack on their school.) Starring... well, almost no one with any previous experience. Mostly high school kids.

Zero Day was also shown yesterday and will be shown again tonight. The director will be part of a forum tomorrow with Michael Moore (Bowling for Coulumbine) and Paul Ryan (Home Room) to discuss violence in high schools.

Maybe it's me but I would think that a movie about two kids planning to attack their high school wouldn't be all that well accepted in the Denver community. I'll be interested to see the Denver Post & Rocky Mountain News on Sunday.

It's not like he glamorizes what they do. He chose to do it as a documentary to start conversation.

The advertisements for Bowling for Columbine have made me want to see it.

First movie in a long time that's done that.
