I think Tim Allen fans shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I admit, I've still yet to see "Big Trouble." But I'm surprised that you found it to be so bad - the book was hilarious. Then again, The Firm and Hannibal were decent books that turned into not-so-decent movies. Also, maybe it's just a Miami thing - if you're not from Miami, you can't fully appreciate the story that is "Big Trouble."

| #11 Posted on 17.10.02 2050.03 Reposted on: 17.10.09 2051.01 | I have lost all respect for Disney as a movie company. They haven't had an original idea in like 5 years. And then when they do come up with one, they have to make a sequel.
It's espcially bad with the cartoons. They've made sequels of 101 Dalmatians, Aladdin, The Lion King, Toy Story, Pocahontas, and that's just off the top of my head. Every cartoon has an anthrapomorphic animal in it, even when it doesn't make sense, like in Pocahontas. All they care about is making a movie that kids will watch. And kids will watch pretty much anything anyway. | drjayphd

Whoops, I apologize if it seemed like I had actually forced myself to watch either Big Trouble or Joe Somebody. I was referring to the critical disdain both movies got, but moreso for the anemic box office for these movies. Because Tim Allen failed to garner interest with both starring roles (even though Big Trouble was more of an ensemble piece), somebody at Disney must have known that to get any interest from people for another Tim Allen movie, they will have to regress to the only film role that got Allen good reviews and money at the theatres (run-on sentences RULE). | Jaguar
