The one thing I keep wondering is who is it
that Austin is going to battle with?
I thought at first it was Perfect, who said
some things to Debra and was the obvious target
of his chair shot.
Then Venis gets all in his face, and we have
the possible start of a feud.
So who is it going to be???
Val?
Curt?
Someone else?

One thing bugged me though: why did the women in Rude's day know exactly how to get into the ring and showed no inhibition about taking off his robe? That chick last night had to say, "Who me?," look for a way over the barricade for 30 minutes, find the steps, and then she pulled off the towel as if she was petting a tarantula.
She sure did loosen up during the kiss segment, though.

I was SO mad Austin interrupted the Perfect/Venis match - I was enjoying the hell out of it. However, the crowd was completely silent. DON'T THEY KNOW GOOD WRESTLING WHEN THEY SEE IT?!?! Note to WWF: never (ever!) go back to Greenville (or wherever it was) again!
And did anybody else enjoy the HELL out of Perfect's promo?
"Hey, you're Stone Cold Steve Austin's wife!" "Yeah, that's right!" "Hey, he and me go WAY back!" "Oh, really." "NO."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - absolutely PERFECT.

Right after Steve Blackman, that is. Where the hell is the Lethal Weapon anway? He needs to be back on TV. When Tazz and Spike are the tag champs and Blackman's not on TV, there has been a crime committed!!

I also loved how Perfect introduced himself to Debra:
"Hey you're Stone Cold Steve Austin's wife! I'm MR. PERFECT."
That's way cool. It was very weird seeing Perfect with all of today's stars, though. He fits right in.

| #9 Posted on 22.1.02 1001.34 Reposted on: 22.1.09 1202.09 | According to the latest Ross Report, the Lethal Weapon has a very serious neck injury and the prognosis isn't so good . . .
I was very glad to see Mr. Perfect (I remember when he had that bastard Hogan in the Perfectplex and let him up!) and Val Venis back. I think both can add some minor "star" power to the roster and help bring the talent that the WWF fans aren't as familiar with, along.
Val looked great in his OVW matches and deserved to be put back on the WWF roster. His match with Leviathan a few months ago (while a loss) showed the strides he's made in telling a story with his matches and his improved physique (and he had a pretty cut one to begin with). I think his time with Cornette and Thatcher has served him well.
Perfect has just always had that cool heel thing going for him in my opinion. Too bad he never got a run as world champ back then. I remember the match he had with Hogan as being quite good, and if he had been able to beat or cheat Hogan out of the belt, Hogan having to chase him to get it back would have been great. Unfortunately, the WWF (and I'm assuming Hogan) didn't understand that dynamic as well back then.

Hennig's always been one of my favorites and I thought Val always deserved better than his porn and RTC gimmicks... of course hes pretty much back doing the Big Valbowski act again but theres enough Rick Rude in what I saw last night to make it work on a bigger level this time... I miss the white trunks though, that look made him stand out from the predominately black and red color schemes...
Goldust I was unsure about them bringing back, just cuz most of my memories of Dustin's last WWF run involve Luna, S&M gear, and Marilyn Manson outfits; but it looks like they're bringing him back in his original androgynous (Did I spell that right? Does it even mean what I think it means?)Joan Crawford personality so I'm digging it...

Nod. Val sells those babies like noone else. Although I think I remember seeing someone do a Val sell some weeks ago. Don't remember who it was..
And are you suggesting you want the WWF to remember that whole sister/wife thing they did for two weeks? I doubt if even Edge and Val remember!

Hmm..perhaps she didn't like Venis or was afraid he DID have a tarantule under the towel? I mean, a robe is something else than a little towel around the waist of this guy talking about his dick in 3rd person, with a nickname even...in public that is.

I know she is his sister, and they did this whole 'are you worthy' and 'who will be best man' feud for 2-3 weeks. So yeah they did acknowledge it. However, they probably don't remember doing it..

Always liked it, since I'm a big DDT mark and people just don't sell having their heads driven into the mats like they used to. I get a kick out of RVD's old "bounce six inches into the air 'cause I've got a spring for a spine" piledriver sell, too.
